He offered to fix the roof of her shelter, but she refused. His seeming ability to see the future enabled him to predict the coming rain.

2. Who did Sawyer attempt to electrocute as part of his plan to escape the cage?

Answer: Ben

He came up with a good plan, but was unaware that 'Big Brother'(or at least Ben)was watching him via the security room. Ben cut the power to the shocker device before going to the cage.

3. What golf club did Desmond borrow from Paulo?

Answer: 5 iron

He used it to construct a lightning rod, which was duly struck by lightning. It was unlikely that it would still be usable as a golf club afterward!

Ben used the number marking to attempt to prove the rabbit's identity to Sawyer when he produced it again (alive and well) later in the episode.
