Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In the opening scene, who welcomed a foreign exchange student named Hiroshi?

Answer: Mr. Van Driessen

The episode began at Highland High School where Mr. Van Driessen informed the class that they had a very special guest with them that afternoon. He introduced them to a young man by the name of Hiroshi. Mr. Van Driessen told his students that Hiroshi was a foreign exchange student who would be spending some time in Highland.
2. Hiroshi was from which country?

Answer: Japan

When Mr. Van Driessen introduced Hiroshi, he informed the class that Hiroshi was originally from Japan. Mr. Van Driessen said that Hiroshi knew very limited English and would require a chaperone to help him cultivate his English learning skills. He then inquired with the class to see if anyone would assist Hiroshi.
3. Beavis and Butt-head fought in class.

Answer: True

As Mr. Van Driessen waited for someone to volunteer to help Hiroshi, Beavis showed that he was paying attention so Butt-head made fun of him for this. Beavis told him to be quiet so Butt-head slapped him. Beavis slapped him back and the two started to fight for a little bit until Mr. Van Driessen told them to stop.
4. The person assigned Hiroshi to be chaperoned by Beavis and Butt-head. The person told the duo this could be a positive experience for them for what reason?

Answer: They could receive a passing grade

Mr. Van Driessen decided that it would be a good idea to give Beavis and Butt-head a challenge by having them chaperone Hiroshi. He advised them that this would be a good opportunity for them since it could help them receive a passing grade in the course. He informed them that, by passing, they would not have to take summer school.
5. Where did Beavis and Butt-head take Hiroshi in this episode?

Answer: Mall

Beavis and Butt-head accepted the challenge of chaperoning Hiroshi in this episode. They first took him over to Highland Mall where they informed Hiroshi that this was where people went around to buy things. Just near them was a store that specialized in selling jeans.
6. What did the duo teach Hiroshi to do?

Answer: Spit

Beavis and Butt-head took Hiroshi to a particular spot in the mall where they would show him a special trick. They decided it would be neat to see Hiroshi learn how to spit so they showed him unique ways on how to do it. Sure enough, Hiroshi caught on quickly and ended up spitting throughout the mall.
7. Beavis angered someone in this episode.

Answer: True

As Beavis and Butt-head showed Hiroshi how to spit while at the mall, Beavis decided to spit on someone from over the railing. He ended up getting a hug wad of saliva in his mouth to spit out in the hopes that it would land on a customer at the mall. Sure enough, someone who walked by was hit by his spit and the guy yelled at Beavis.
8. Hiroshi acted like he was playing which musical instrument?

Answer: Guitar

Beavis and Butt-head complimented Hiroshi on the way that he spat on several people at the mall since it took him a lot of effort. Just then, the duo started to make musical sounds that got Hiroshi all excited. With the way that he positioned his hands, Hiroshi acted as if he was playing a guitar.
9. Who was seen barbecuing?

Answer: Mr. Anderson

Midway through the episode, Mr. Anderson was outside by his home where he was barbecuing some food. He spoke about how much he loved his new grill and could not wait to try the food he cooked on it. Nearby were Beavis and Butt-head teaching Hiroshi how to play baseball.
10. Who had a flashback?

Answer: Mr. Anderson

Something hit into Mr. Anderson's grill while he was barbecuing, knocking him out temporarily. When he awoke, he noticed Hiroshi and thought he was back in his Vietnam days when he served in the military. He believed that Hiroshi was there to harm him but was unaware that Hiroshi hailed from Japan.
