Brooke entered D&D Advertising to work and she noticed a piece of paper on Billy's desk. She looked at it and noticed it was a letter that Allison wrote to him. In the note, Allison informed Billy how she was about to get on a plane to fly thousands of miles away from the life they shared. Allison proclaimed in the letter that she loved Billy and, if he wanted to be with her, she would be on the first flight back to Los Angeles. Brooke took the letter and put it through the paper shredder so Billy could not read where Allison said she still loved him.

Midway through the episode, Kimberly went to her locker and screamed at what she saw. There was a mannequin's face in it with a scalpel stuck in the part of the eye and there was a note which said, "You forgot something." Michael entered the room and Kimberly accused him of pulling that prank on her but Michael denied it.

After Michael denied pulling a prank on Kimberly, he accused her of pulling that stunt herself. She called up Amanda at D&D Advertising. On the phone, Kimberly told Amanda about the prank and said that Michael was now trying to make her look crazy. Amanda asked Kimberly if Michael had hurt her but Kimberly said he had not. Kimberly and Amanda agreed to meet for dinner that night.

When she got there, she noticed that the driver's side had spray paint all over it. Despite this, she got in and drove away. It was revealed that it was Kimberly who was following her, not Michael.

In one scene midway through the episode, Dr. Graham went to talk to Matt but Matt insisted that he was too busy to talk. Dr. Graham said he would not take too long so he told Matt how he knew that Matt did not date married men. However, he asked Matt what his "policy" was on a man who was legally separated from his wife.

He then revealed that he and his wife got a legal separation so Matt said they might have a chance.

In one scene near the episode's conclusion, Jake was wheelchair bound in his hospital room and Jo entered with some flowers for him. She said that the flowers were more of a peace offering so Jake asked her if Jess sent her. Jo did not answer him so set the flowers down on a table and told Jake that Jess did care for him.
