In the very first scene, Billy and Allison were seen together when Billy caught Allison with a bottle of booze in her hand. Billy encouraged Allison to not take a drink but she told him she needed some comfort with Hayley being dead. They continued to argue, especially about Brooke, and Billy swept Allison up into his arms and put her in the shower.

Right after the opening credits, Amanda was seen in bed, and Peter was right next to her. She woke up and told Peter to get up but he told her it was very early, at 6 a.m., and he wanted to sleep some more. Peter decided to stay awake and make love to Amanda. In this scene, they also talked about Bobby Parezi.

Jane's first scene took place at Hart & Mancini Designs, and she was talking business with Jo. Jane had Jo look over some designs to get her opinion, and Jo was shocked since Jane had not said a word to her in some time, but now she wanted her advice. Jane and Jo started to talk about Richard and Jo mentioned, to Jane, she never meant to hurt her. Richard called Jane into his office and Jane went to speak to him.

In this episode, Sydney had a session with Kimberly, and Kimberly brought up the Christmas fundraiser that the hospital was hosting. Kimberly urged Sydney to volunteer, for the fundraiser, since it would please Michael. Sydney did not want to volunteer at first, since she was afraid she would run into people she did not want to see.

However, Kimberly told Sydney she would be fine and prescribed her some medication for anxiety. Sydney agreed to volunteer for the fundraiser.

In one scene, Allison showed Jane a contract that dealt with Hart & Mancini Designs. In the contract, Jane saw that she was being removed as head of the company and this upset her. She realized that Jo had the contract written up. Jane commented that she disliked how Jo took her fiancé (Richard) and now her company.

Brooke argued with Billy, about how he was spending a lot of time with Allison. Billy assured her he wanted to make it work with her but Brooke told him she may forgive but she did not forget. She warned Billy that, if she found out he was spending more time with Allison, she would cut him out of their unborn child's life.

She also commented that her baby would still be fine, even if Billy was not in his or her life, since Hayley left a lot of money to the baby in his will.

Amanda got a knock at her apartment door, midway through the episode, and the people asked for Amanda Parezi. She reminded them that her name was actually Amanda Woodward and went to go see who they were. They identified themselves, as FBI agents, and came to speak to her about Bobby Parezi.

The FBI agents told Amanda to stay away from Bobby, even though she was doing business with his family's cable company.

In the episode, Matt was seen when he got coffee with a man named Alan. Alan was in the hospital for a couple of weeks, and gave Matt attitude several times while he was at Wilshire Memorial Hospital. Alan apologized to Matt, for his behavior, and Matt accepted his apology. During this coffee date, Alan and Matt realized they had a lot of things in common. Alan and Matt dated for a brief period of time and their relationship was not a serious one.

At the Christmas fundraiser, Sydney gave Jane a drink that was spiked with some medication that Kimberly had prescribed Sydney. Sydney did this since she was jealous that Michael and Jane were at the fundraiser together. Jane had the drink and then went to a room. In the room, she collapsed and Michael ran out and told someone to call 911. Jane ended up surviving this debacle.
