1. The episode began with a talk show host named Gus. He symbolized which person?

Answer: Rush Limbaugh

The boys had on a talk show when this show started that featured an overweight, brown haired person chatting politics. Based upon how he looked and the phrases he stated, it was a parody of famed right wing talk radio host, Rush Limbaugh. In the show, though, this host went by the name of Gus.
2. What issue did Gus discuss first on the talk show?

Answer: Death penalty

Gus brought up how he wanted to get into a lively discussion that day while the first item on the agenda was capital punishment. Beavis and Butt-head got all excited since they favored "the chair". This led to them really being huge fans of Gus and hoping one day to eventually meet him.
3. Gus mentioned that his detractors called him which of these not so endearing names?

Answer: Reactionary

Gus said that his view was to maintain the death penalty since it shepherded a tough on crime stance. Beavis and Butt-head cheered while Gus brought up how he realized that his critics would further defame him on this notion. He even said that he had been labeled by them numerous times as a reactionary.
4. The host mentioned that he believed ordinary citizens should carry guns.

Answer: True

After Gus brought up his points about capital punishment, he shifted the conversation into another hot button issue: gun rights. He claimed that his position was law obeying citizens had rights to carry guns and that should not be impugned upon by politicians.

It was widely believed the show brought this point up since the Brady Bill had just been signed into law and California's U.S. Senator, Dianne Feinstein, had introduced an assault weapons ban just after this episode aired.
5. Beavis and Butt-head called the talk show host when he said his lines were open for commentary.

Answer: True

The duo heard the talk show host bring up how he opened up phone lines so people could call in and submit comments. The number flashed on the screen so Beavis and Butt-head decided to call to express support for the death penalty. Gus mentioned how pleased he was to hear of the boys' solid convictions.
6. Beavis and Butt-head managed to get on Gus's show. Why were they excited to go onto the show?

Answer: They realized people on television got women

The duo were invited to participate on a live broadcast of Gus's show so the producers took down their information so they could arrange for them to participate. Butt-head informed Beavis how this would grant them an opportunity to get women since men on television often received support from the ladies, a sentiment echoed by Beavis.
7. On the show, Gus claimed that people said what about Beavis and Butt-head's generation?

Answer: They were lazy

Gus hoped that the boys' appearance on his show would refute society's belief that the youthful generation had become particularly lazy. He also mentioned that their elder counterparts believed that people around the duo's ages were uneducated, sexually active and violent. Beavis and Butt-head continued to share their thoughts on a myriad of issues with Gus.
8. Gus mentioned that videos from what musical genre were immoral?

Answer: Rock

Gus realized that the boys may be the best hope for their generation so he got into a diatribe about rock videos. He claimed that they were immoral and did nothing productive towards younger kids. Beavis and Butt-head started to get excited since they disliked several rock bands, even though they also had a strong affinity for the genre.
9. What angered Gus about Beavis and Butt-head?

Answer: Their language

Butt-head commented on how Meatloaf sucked so Gus informed the two that they were on the air. Butt-head did not understand so he leaned over and whispered in his ear that he could not say the word "sucks". Butt-head repeated this to Beavis so he responded how that indeed did suck.
10. What happened to Gus's show after Beavis and Butt-head appeared on it?

Answer: It was cancelled

Beavis made a spectacle on the air that caused Gus to have them escorted off the set. In the final scene to the episode, a broadcaster mentioned how Gus's show had been cancelled due to what transpired between the boys and Gus. Gus said that the networks seemed to cave too easily and was disappointed in their decision.
