Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Andy slept outside on the porch because he was creeped out by Bubbie's "I wanna die" episode.

Answer: True

He came in wearing what appeared to be a wool jacket, and said that "Bubbie liked her pelts". The collar did look like faux fur of some kind, but technically wool wouldn't be a pelt since it is no longer attached to an animal skin. The entire point could be moot, as the jacket may not have been wool at all! Andy also commented to Nancy that Bubbie's machine left him with a sense of Darth Vader.
2. When Len entered the opening scene, he was wearing Bubbie's nightgown because Silas had taken his. What did he then walk up to Nancy and drop in front of her?

Answer: a wad of her own hair

He'd taken Nancy's long dark hair out of the shower drain, and was complaining about it as he finally entered the scene. He dropped her hair onto the floor before her stating "I believe this belongs to you". He turned to Silas and said "and that belongs to me, another thief", looked at Shane and offered "good morning Shane" and told Andy "you I'm not talking to".
3. What is Guillermo's last name?

Answer: Garcia-Gomez

We could first see his last name in the previous episode, when Capt. Till showed Celia the photo of him with Nancy. It was printed on the picture. When Till revealed it aloud to Celia in this episode, he showed her that same picture again and gave her a bit of Guillermo's history.

He was of Puerto Rican descent and it was a mystery to law enforcement how he came to lead a Mexican drug cartel in Los Angeles. In real life, Guillermo Diaz is of a Cuban background, born in New Jersey in 1971.
4. While reviewing Nancy's first border crossing, Guillermo mentioned several reasons why she was stopped. Which choice was NOT one of the reasons he said she was stopped?

Answer: because she bought a hot pink balloon

He also pointed out that she moved her hands too much, should dress in J.Crew clothes and take beta blockers to keep herself calm. All the stuff she bought in line to cross over sent a signal that she was up to no good, because she had nothing in car from inside Mexico.

She told the border cop she was there for fade cream, but had no empty container to show a merchant and no brand name to supply either. She agreed she was too vague. She knew she'd messed up, but wanted to make another run immediately. Guillermo wasn't convinced at first, but finally agreed to let her go.
5. While in the van, Andy discussed taking Bubbie off of life support. Of these choices, which person was NOT initially in favor of killing Bubbie for her own good?

Answer: Silas

Silas' take was that they had so limited of family members he didn't think they should be killing any off. Shane told Silas he was a wimp, but that wasn't the terminology he used. Andy wanted to give her the mercy she has supposedly asked for. Shane went inside to convince Lenny that it was a good idea after Andy convinced Silas it was a good idea.
6. When Pam and Celia gained entry into Dean's hotel room, Celia was able to locate Nancy's location.

Answer: True

Celia made Pam go back out into the hallway to stand guard while she pilfered the room. It didn't take her long to locate Isabelle's cellphone with a text message from Shane. Shane revealed that they'd made it to Ren Mar. Celia was now on her way to getting the charges against her dropped.
7. What did Nancy bring back from Mexico that she initially objected to?

Answer: a man name Lento

Nancy waited while Guillermo's vehicle was filled with marijuana. She listened to an MP3 player that contained an English-Spanish study course. When she realized that a man was also being installed inside the SUV, she objected strenuously to carrying illegals over the border.

He admitted he wasn't illegal, and did have a green card. He didn't want to cross the border normally because he had a prison record. Lento's mom was getting a gastric bypass in Lemon Grove.
8. Did Lenny offer Shane the chance to pull the cord on Bubbie's life support?

Answer: Yes

Shane couldn't do it, despite his convictions she was miserable. When Lenny finally came around to the idea, they decided to have Nancy pull the plug. Lenny asked Shane he could pull the plug on Nancy, and he said he could if she wanted it. Lenny described his mother as the woman who'd spent the "wonder years" kicking his butt, calling him a loser, liar and bad investment.

She'd even hung two of his dogs in a tree.
9. When Guillermo came to Bubbie's to collect his vehicle, pot and cousin Lento, who was there spying on his conversation with Nancy?

Answer: Celia

Celia, being the supreme dufus she was, couldn't get the packaging off of her disposable camera quickly enough to take a decent picture of the scene. She saw Guillermo hand Nancy a manila envelope of cash, but couldn't get it on film. She shot of one picture, of the two vehicles, but no one's face was included.

Mark Consuelos is an actor and married Kelly Ripa in 1996. In 2008, they shared three children, Michael, Lola and Joaquin.
10. Did Nancy actually plug Bubbie's electrical cord out of the wall when she turned off her life support?

Answer: No

I guess that was too morbid for the gang. So, Nancy flipped breaker switches inside the home's breaker box until she got to the right one. It was no shock to me when Bubbie continued to breathe on her own. I giggled a little as the episode faded to black, because Nancy reacted to that by remarking "Shane get mommy a pillow."
