De Zarn, born in 1952 in Cincinnati, Ohio guest starred as Trevor in this episode of "Lost." He played the character for just this one episode of "Lost." He has also had guest starring stints on the TV series', "The Forgotten", "Criminal Minds", and "Prison Break."

The episode began with a woman looking at renting an apartment and she mentioned to the landlord how it was just her and her son. The landlord mentioned to the woman that he would need two months rent paid up front and it was at this time that the woman's son ran off.

The woman told the boy to not run and then called him "Miles", letting us know it was Miles Straume. Lance Ho guest starred as the young Miles.

After the flashback scene ended, we saw Miles reading a magazine at his desk and Sawyer called for him through the walkie talkie. Sawyer told him to erase the security tapes from the pylon camera feeds.
