Taghmaoui, born on July 19th, 1973 in Villepinte, France guest starred as Caesar in this episode. He played the part for a total of four episodes of "Lost." He has also guest starred on the TV series', "Secrets", "House of Saddam", and "The West Wing."

Reddick, born on December 31st, 1969 in Baltimore, Maryland guest starred as Matthew Abaddon in this episode of "Lost." Matthew was seen driving Locke around to find certain Oceanic 815 survivors to take back to the island. He played the role for four episodes. As he turned over to observe his surroundings, he noticed a security camera so he yelled for help, hoping someone was watching the camera.

Locke was picked up by a group of men who took him back to their place to see if they could fix his leg. They gave Locke something to bite down on as they tried manually to reset his leg but it was to no avail. Locke passed out and it was when he awoke that someone told him he had a compound fracture in his leg.

Charles assured Locke that he would not let Locke's death happen.

Locke was about to hang himself in one scene until he heard a knock at the door. It was Ben, who burst into Locke's room to prevent him from committing suicide. Locke asked Ben how he found him so Ben answered that he had a man watching Sayid and the man called him to tell him of Locke's whereabouts. Locked asked Ben why he was there so Ben said he wanted to protect Locke.

In the midst of their attack, he chocked Locke with some chords until Locke stopped breathing. Then, he hung Locke's body from the ceiling to make it look as if Locke hung himself.
