7.23 "TV Violence" Trivia Quiz

He said hello to the duo and informed them how this new satellite dish would permit him to watch 200 channels. Beavis and Butt-head asked Stewart if they could watch television with them and he agreed.

Beavis and Butt-head went inside Stewart's place to watch some television so Stewart complimented them on agreeing to hang out with him. Butt-head asked Stewart to be quiet in order for them to enjoy the television show. The program came back on from a commercial break and, based upon the announcer's description, it was a horror based program.

Beavis and Butt-head got excited over what was going on with the program but Stewart grew tired. His reason was based upon how he feared he would not be able to view the show due to violence. Stewart's mom arrived in the living room and stepped in front of the television to advise all three boys how no violent content was to be viewed with their new satellite dish.

Stewart's mom said she had to protect Stewart from the media's glamorization of violence. This led to her changing the channel and it landed on a baseball event. She liked how much better this was so then she left the room so the boys could watch the baseball game in progress.

Stewart's mother could hear the television in the kitchen and realized there also was violence on that channel. She asked Stewart to change it so, much to Beavis and Butt-head's dismay, Stewart obeyed his mother's order. The next program they saw on the tube was the local news hour.

Stewart's mother once again heard of violence on the tube when the news broadcaster warned viewers that they would be showing graphic scenes of a recent murder. She clicked the channel and it ended up on Barney. Beavis and Butt-head immediately moved far back from the television and expressed annoyance over watching Barney.

Stewart's mother claimed that she had to put her foot down in order to protect her son. She brought up a story to Beavis and Butt-head about how Stewart's father took him to see a PG-13 film at the local theater. She informed them how Stewart became so freaked out that he ended up with nightmares lasting an entire week. An embarrassed Stewart looked on as his mother disclosed this personal tidbit.

Beavis and Butt-head fought at Stewart's home so therefore his mother told them to leave. When the boys got back home, they put on the television and Beavis got excited at the sight of a knife. However, Butt-head slapped him since he had to advise him how nothing violent would come on television as this was a cooking show.
