Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. C.J found out about Sam and Laurie in this episode.

Answer: True

Donna informed Josh that C.J was looking for him and wasn't too happy about being denied information about Sam and Laurie.
2. What was C.J doing when Josh found her in his office?

Answer: reading a newspaper

Josh went to hide in his office when he found C.J was mad at him. He enters his office and jumps when he sees C.J sitting at his desk reading a paper and she said, "Wow, are you stupid!"
3. Who did Toby think it was impossible to scare?

Answer: Admiral Fitzwallace

Toby told Josh and C.J that it was "The longest dinner of my life. The President was up from the table every five minutes teeing off on Cashman and Berryhill. He's barking at the Secretary of State, he's scaring Fitzwallace, which I didn't think was possible. He's snapping at the First Lady. He's talking about blowing up half of North Africa".
4. Was the President satisfied with "Operation Pericles One" put forward by the national security team?

Answer: No

The President wasn't at all satisfied with "Pericles One" and said "General, I am suggesting that you and Admiral Fitzwallace and Secretary Hutchinson and the rest of the national security team take the next sixty minutes and put together a U.S. response scenario that doesn't make me think we are just docking somebody's allowance".
5. What was the original job that Charlie applied for?

Answer: messenger

Charlie said to Josh "Uh, sir, I'm sorry but I think there's been some sort of mistake". He had originally come for a messenger job but was recommended for the job as personal aide to the President. Charlie was stunned to say the least.
6. Did Charlie ever try to overthrow the Government?

Answer: No

When Charlie said that he had never tried to overthrow the government, Sam asked him, "What the hell's been stopping you"? Josh then went on to ask Charlie about his personal life and Sam advised Charlie to sue them. He actually said to Charlie "I'll represent you".
7. Where did Charlie realise the President had left his glasses?

Answer: his private office

Charlie blurted this out in the Oval Office before the President was due to go on television. The President was very tense and snapped "What of it? Who is this? ...I don't have anytime for new people now!"
8. Who told the President he should send flowers to Abbey to apologize for his foul mood?

Answer: Leo

Leo brought the President down a peg or two, "Well, you've gone through everyone who works for you and everyone who's married to
you. I didn't know who else you could get mad at, so I was afraid the American people might be next. Oh, by the way, when we're done here you're sending Abbey some flowers".
9. What empire did the President say that two thousand years ago their citizens "could walk across the face of the known world, free of the fear of molestation"?

Answer: Roman

This was a great scene between Leo and the President. The President said to Leo, "Did you know that two thousand years ago a Roman citizen could walk across the face of the known world free of the fear of molestation? He could walk across the earth unharmed, cloaked only in the words 'Civis Romanis' I am a Roman citizen. So great was the retribution of Rome, universally understood as certain, should any harm befall even one of its citizens. Where was Morris' protection, or anyone else on that plane? Where is the retribution for the families and where is the warning to the rest of the world that Americans shall walk this earth unharmed, lest the clenched fist of the most mighty military force in the history of mankind comes crashing down on your house!? In other words, Leo, what are we doing here?"
10. Did the President ask Charlie to take the position of being his personal aide?

Answer: Yes

The President rang the FBI director to find out some information as to how Charlie's mother died and told Charlie "now we have not had a whole lot of success banning that weapon and those bullets off the streets, but we're planning on taking a big whack at it when Congress gets back from recess. So, what do you say, you wanna come help us out?" Charlie simply replied, "Yes sir, I do".
