Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Leo told Toby if they fired which person people would be singing "Grandma got run over by the Bartlets" for six months?

Answer: Attorney General

Toby wanted to fire the Attorney General because he wouldn't do what they wanted when it came to assisted suicide laws in Oregon.
2. Who was the first person Doug Westin talked to about the White House supporting him for Congress?

Answer: Josh

Doug talked to Josh about the White House supporting him in his run for Congress, but Josh told him that they already had someone lined up that they were going to support. Doug didn't seem to understand at first, but later told Josh that he had all the backing he needed.
3. What is Gus Weston's Secret Service code name?

Answer: Tonka

When Gus wouldn't turn on the Christmas tree lights with his grandfather, Zoey decided she would go with him to do it. The Secret Service agent talked into his mike and told the other agents that "tonka" was being traded for "bookbag".
4. Does Donna do all of Josh's Christmas shopping for him?

Answer: Yes

Donna marks items in magazines with different items for Josh's family members. Josh marks an 'x' on the item he wants to get and Donna orders it for him.
5. What song was CJ poorly singing when Toby walked into her office at the beginning of the show?

Answer: Sleigh Ride

Toby walked into CJ's office to see her holding a Christmas tree up and poorly singing "Sleigh Ride". CJ was waiting for a tree stand so she wouldn't have to hold the tree. When CJ left to tree to make a phone call, the tree fell on top of Toby.
6. Who was the only member of the President's family to not be at Christmas Eve dinner?

Answer: Annie

Zoey and Liz arrived on Christmas Eve while Ellie arrived later that evening. Liz and Doug's daughter, Annie, was the only one not at Christmas Eve dinner because her parents didn't want pictures of her piercing showing up in the news.
7. What were the twelve relief workers doing in Sudan when they were taken hostage?

Answer: Stocking a food warehouse

Leo first heard about the twelve hostages in his office while he and Margaret were going over the list of Christmas parties he was either going to attend or not going to attend. Congressman Richter told Leo that the workers were stocking a food warehouse when they were taken into custody and thrown in jail.
8. What was President Bartlet given in Egypt for being an Abu El Banat (Father of daughters)?

Answer: Cup of tea

President Bartlet told Leo that on a Christmas fifteen years ago, he, Abbey and all three girls went to Egypt. While on a tour, he was given the name 'Abu El Banat' which means father of daughters. He was offered a cup of tea and not allowed to pay because of his title.
9. What did Josh tell Donna that he got her for a real Christmas present?

Answer: He wouldn't tell her

Josh told Donna that he got her present at Thanksgiving, but he lied to her about what it was. The gift certificate and the socks was the gift he said he got her, but that was the lie. The skis were what Donna asked for in "In Excelsis Deo".
10. Which one of the President's family was the only one to ask if there was a plan for his death?

Answer: Ellie

Because of the topic of assisted suicide being brought up in the White House, Toby asked the President if there was a plan for his death when the MS got really bad. President Bartlet told Leo that Ellie was the only one of the girls that asked if there was a plan. Later that night, President Bartlet told Abbey that he knew it was going to get bad and he wanted to die naturally.
