Answer: Electrocution

Sadly, she had electric hair rollers on and next to the bathtub, and her cat knocked them into the water. Vivica, whose real name was Jean Louise Macarthur, was played by real life adult film star Veronica Hart.
Kathy Bates directed this episode, the first of five total. She went on to play Bettina, on the show, in later seasons.
