Lister is incredibly bored because Rimmer is forcing him to go through the ship's inventory. This consists of Rimmer reading out each item and Lister saying 'check'.

2. How many cigarettes does Rimmer say he owes Lister?

Answer: 4 and 3/4

Lister receives one cigarette from the ship's stock for every day he obeys Rimmer's orders. Rimmer deducts a quarter of a cigarette because Lister had spoken to him in 'a variety of silly voices'.

3. Which of these people is NOT suggested as someone Lister would prefer to Rimmer?

'Hermann Goering would be better than Rimmer. Okay, he was a drug crazed transvestite but at least we could have gone dancing!'

He is trying to get across the disco to find Lister. Kochanski and her friend are dancing and are in his way. He picks up her handbag and throws across the room to make her move.
