Answer: D-Day

Winters was given command after Lt. Meehan's plane was shot down on D-Day. He moved up to Major by the end of the war.
2. One of the German officers said he had been in every country that participated in the war. Which one did he say was the best?

Answer: France

He said "France was beautiful and best, Italy was second, and that Russia was not desirable". This was heard in a conversation at a checkpoint between himself and Pfc. John Janovec.
3. How many points did Webster have?

Answer: 81

Webster only needed 4 points and then he could have gone home. Webster mentioned this to Janovec when they were switching shifts at the checkpoint. Janovec was killed shortly after in a car accident.
4. What rank was the British officer that was killed by the drunk Private from Item Company?

The German officers wouldn't give the Private gas, so he shot them dead. The British Major, as well as his sergeant were driving by and hopped out to see what was happening. After a brief exchange, the two Brits lay dead. The replacement soldier also shot Sgt. Grant in the head. Grant was saved by a German surgeon, and the replacement soldier was later found and given a severe beating.
5. What soldier demoted himself?

Answer: Talbert

Talbert requested to Captain Speirs to be demoted from 1SG to Staff Sergeant because he wanted to be back with the enlisted men.
6. Who did the German General surrender to?

Answer: Lipton

General Theodor Tolsdorf surrendered to Lipton. He requested someone of Lipton's rank, as apposed to Heffron's rank to officially surrender. Gen. Tolsdorf was known as Tolsdorf the Mad because of the recklessness of his and his mens lives. He had been in command of the 340th Volksgrenadier Division on January 3rd in the fighting at Bois Jacques and around Foy and Noville.

Denver "Bull" Randleman was considered, by Winters, as one of the finest soldiers that Winters ever had in combat.

Moore actually returned with Hitler's personal photo album. Originally it was in Speirs' possession, but Moore ended up going back home with it. Moore was killed in a car accident in 1958.

Eugene Roe saved the lives of many Easy Company soldiers, and was the main character in episode 6 "Bastogne". He lived in Louisiana where he was a construction contractor.

Easy Company was scheduled to go to the Pacific and help in the war efforts there. The war ended when Easy was still in Austria. Everyone, no matter how many points, could go home.
