"Battlestar Galactica" 2.02 - "Valley of..." Quiz

Answer: They were onboard a Cylon ship that crashed into the Galactica.

At the end of the previous episode, Lee attempted to shoot down a Cylon prototype they hadn't seen before. The ship carried loads of Cylon centurions and when it plunged within Galactica, the centurions began to wreak havoc.

The explosive rounds that the marine had used seemed to be the only thing that worked at stopping the Cylons. They could be equipped in any of their pistols, but there were very few left to go between everyone.

Answer: sickbay

Sickbay was far away from any target the Cylons may have wanted to strike and was meant to act a "disaster shelter" during emergencies. Roslin and Billy were to try and get there as quickly as they could to get out of harm's way. Lee gave Billy a pistol to fend off any possible Cylon attacks, but it was apparent that the president's aide was uncomfortable handling the weapon.

Answer: No

Apparently the Cylons had been cleaning up the bodies and bringing them to mass incinerators (just another creepy aspect that resembles the actual Holocaust). The cities and streets were instead eerily empty.

Answer: He drowned Gaius' baby in a river.

The child that Gaius held in his arms was the same one he had imagined in the opera house. His dream showed Commander Adama drowning the child, and 'the shape of things to come', in a river. Baltar woke and was surrounded by the bones of human sacrifice. Number Six convinced him that his ancestors on Kobol were actually savages.

The point she was trying to make was that Adama would try to sacrifice their baby if given the opportunity.

Answer: "I'm fighting because I don't know how to do anything else."

Starbuck played a tape of her father's piano playing and lit up a cigar. Her expressions revealed a deeper part of herself to Helo. She didn't miss all of her old things on Caprica and didn't regret leaving them and her past life. When she was through musing, she found a set of keys in her old coat pocket and asked Helo if he was tired of walking.

She had a military truck in her possession.

Answer: Anastasia Dualla

Dee seemed to have suffered a hit to the head and was unresponsive for a short time before Billy snapped her out of her trance. The Cylons had blocked their current path to sickbay and they had to find another.

Answer: He was near death and Tyrol spared him an agonizing death by giving him an overdose of morpha.

It was too late for the deck hand Socinus; he had gone too long without the much needed medicine. Their only option to spare him a painful death was to euthanize him with morpha (morphine). After he was injected, Tyrol told him that they were rescued and were going to be home soon, a lie crafted to let him die in peace.

Answer: Billy Keikeya's pistol went off and the Cylons started shooting.

The Cylons stopped approaching Lee and his team once they heard the stray pistol report. They shot at the president and her escort, giving Lee and his team the opportunity to attack. The centurions were both destroyed, though they managed to kill two marines. Laura Roslin found two bullet holes in her blouse, leading Corporal Venner to state that she must be blessed.

Answer: All of these happened.

After the horror that had taken place on the ship was ended, Tigh made sure that everything was back to normal. Roslin was sent back to her cell. He attempted to scold Lee, but Apollo resisted his attempts and instead stood up for himself by telling Tigh that his father would decide what was going to happen to the both of them.
