Chris doesn't appear in the episode until about halfway through when Peter starts eating nickels. This episode marks the first appearance of Joe and Cleveland in the fourth season.

By having the ball move very slowly down the lane, it is Mort who somehow manages to bowl a strike every time he plays. He is made a local hero, and Peter feels jealous.

When Lois goes to the bathroom, she discovers that Quagmire is looking down in her stall from the ceiling. Quagmire goes to jail for the night and the gang tries to stop his sexual tendencies.

After God himself accidentally sets fire to the bar, Horace is trapped under flaming debris behind the bar. Since Peter was blind, he had no idea that he save Horace from the fire until Tom Tucker told him what happened.

Peter gets a new pair of eyes from the homeless man that he killed by tying the dog around his neck. Again, everything goes back to normal, and finally, Peter is a local hero.

The greased up deaf guy actually appeared in the first two episodes from this season. During this episode, the chicken from the episode "Da Bomb" takes another attempt to kill Peter. In the final scene, Peter gets awarded a medal in a satire of the final scene from "Star Wars: A New Hope".
