Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who told Steven and Scott about Harry's secret?

Answer: Harry

Harry decided he'd had enough of Dana blackmailing him, so he told Steven and Scott that he'd kissed Dana. It had only happened once and Dana had instigated it, but he knew it was wrong.

Dana was shocked when Scott told her that Harry told what happened.
2. Who was found hanging upside down outside the school?

Answer: Andrew

Andrew had been bullied and the final straw for Steven was Scott finding Andrew hanging outside a classroom window. When Andrew refused to divulge the identity of the people who had bullied him, Steven suspended Andrew.
3. Which team had been doing the bullying in this episode?

Answer: soccer

Anthony had found out the soccer team was hacking into the teacher's computer and downloading the answer keys. Anthony decided to hack into the system himself and change the tests, then change it back after the soccer team had downloaded the 'answers.' The entire team failed and was told that it was Anthony's fault.
4. What was the football team's problem in this episode?

Answer: A teammate might be gay

One of the teammates, Bobby, had been seen kissing another guy in Harvard Yard. The team also believed that Bobby was checking out another guy's butt in the shower. The team called a meeting and decided they didn't want Bobby showering with them.
5. Who tried to intervene with Bobby's 'problem'?

Answer: Harvey

Harvey heard the teachers talking in the teachers' lounge and decided to confront Bobby. Harvey told Bobby that his great-nephew was gay, but they still felt he was part of the family. Harvey believed this would induce Bobby to talk to Harvey about how he was feeling.

Harvey also called the entire team into his classroom for a team meeting. He mentioned that Jackie Robinson hadn't originally been accepted as a baseball player, but ended up paving the way for blacks in baseball. Harvey then asked the team to accept their gay teammate in the shower.

Oh, and it turns out that Bobby was claiming he wasn't gay. Bobby was especially upset because he was being recruited by a Jesuit school and if the school heard rumours he was gay, it could hurt his chances.
6. Which was not a problem that Scott believed would come up at the school board meeting?

Answer: The Holt 45 website

Scott was trying to get Steven to play politics and not do anything about the soccer team cheating until after the meeting was held. Steven believed it was best to act quickly on the cheating and bullying ring, and ended up cancelling the season.

Lauren's class ended up asking about Native Americans and cannibalism, so the class went off topic and discussed the matter. (The superintendent, Marsha, happened to be in the classroom during a discussion.)

Scott also asked Steven not to let out about Harry having kissed Dana Poole as Scott believed it would make Steven look even worse.
7. Who was told not to come to the school board meeting?

Answer: Marla

Scott was afraid that if Marla came to the school board meeting and heard her name mentioned, it would get even worse for Steven.
8. Why did Harvey believe the parents would back Steven in his decision to cancel one of the sports teams' season?

Answer: No one liked the sport anyway

Harvey believed that no one liked soccer, so it wouldn't matter if Steven cancelled the entire soccer season. The parents were upset because they didn't believe the same action would have been taken had it been the football team who had cheated on their tests and bullied a student.
9. Did Marsha, the superintendent, support Steven's decision to cancel the sport's season?

Answer: Yes

Marsha was very critical of Steven and didn't really agree with anything else he'd done. But when Steven came under fire at the meeting for cancelling the soccer season, she said she supported his decision.
10. Who first spoke out on Steven's behalf at the school board meeting?

Answer: Marla

Marsha launched into a tirade of all the poor decisions Steven had made and how badly the school was run. When Marsha mentioned a teacher who was being medicated, Marla stood up for herself and said that she had had it with parents who didn't respect the teachers, which brought their disrespect to the children. The other teachers eventually stood up and said that if Steven was fired, they would quit.

Ultimately, no action was taken against Steven.
