Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What does Tara predict in 'The Gift', right before she leads the Scooby gang to Glory?

Answer: Giles killing Ben

When Buffy and the others realize that Tara knows where Glory has Dawn, they decide to let her bring them there. As she's exiting the Magic Box she points at Giles and says "You're a killer!" During the final fight scene Giles suffocates Ben because of Buffy's inability to take a human life.
2. In what season two episode does someone notice something "unusual" about the trophy of Catherine the Great?

Answer: Phases

In the season one episode 'The Witch' Amy Madison's insane mother switches bodies with her to regain her youth. When Giles is able to reverse all of Catherine's spells, she becomes trapped in a trophy of herself. In 'Phases', Oz is seen in the hallway looking into the display case.

When Willow comes over, he tells her that the eyes of the trophy seem to follow him when he moves, implying that Catherine is still in there.
3. In the season seven episode 'Help', Cassie Newton sees a future event that will take place in the series finale 'Chosen'. What is it?

Answer: Buffy telling Spike that she loves him

In the fight scene, with the high-school boys, in 'Help' Spike goes to untie Cassie. She looks into his eyes and says "She'll tell you. Some day she'll tell you." Later, in 'Chosen', Buffy tells Spike that she loves him as he's using the power of the amulet to destroy Sunnydale, which then saves the world.
4. In 'Bargaining Part Two', Buffy had to dig herself out of her own grave. In what previous episode did this happen as well?

Answer: Nightmares

In the season one episode 'Nightmares', all of the inhabitants of Sunnydale must live out their deepest fears when a little boy goes into a coma. One of Buffy's biggest fears was being buried alive and having to claw her way out of her own grave, which in this episode became a reality.

When Buffy dies in season five, she must AGAIN claw her way out of her grave when her friends bring her back in the beginning of season six.
5. In 'Blood Ties', Dawn finds out that she is the Key. Which is NOT one of the clues she uses to make this discovery?

Answer: She does a spell to view her past and sees nothing.

During this episode, Dawn feels that Buffy and her friends are acting very careful and strange around her. She becomes angry and runs off to steal at the Magic Box. Spike accompanies her and as he reads Giles' journal to her, Dawn has several flashbacks of realization; including one of the giant snake stopping in front of her and all of the crazy people who have been saying confusing things to her.
6. In 'Tabula Rasa', what initially causes Giles and Spike to believe that they are related?

Answer: they both have British accents

When Willow's spell goes wrong, the Scoobies wake up with no memory of who they are. Based on personal identification items found on or around them, they begin to try and pice together their identities. When Spike comments on Giles' British accent, he notices that he also has one.

They both assume, at this point, that they are related and then assume that they are father and son because of their physical age difference.
7. In Faith's dreams in 'This Year's Girl', Faith foreshadows the arrival of whom?

Answer: Dawn in 'Buffy vs. Dracula'

While Faith and Buffy are making the bed in Faith's dream, Faith tells Buffy that she understands why she's so busy. She says that Buffy has to get ready for "little sis". This foreshadows the arrival of Dawn at the end of the season five premiere.
8. In 'The Puppet Show', Giles runs the Talent Show under strict direction by Principal Snyder. Giles will again be running a stage performance in 'Restless', in whose dream sequence?

Answer: Willow

In Willow's dream sequence we are surprised to see Giles running a theatrical performance once again. (He hated it so much in 'The Puppet Show'.)In Willow's dream she arrives backstage for her Drama class and sees everyone dressed up for a play. Giles is the director and he is giving a much more rousing speech to the cast than the short, unenthusiastic one he gave in 'The Puppet Show'.
9. Faith tells Buffy about her "get some and get gone" method she uses in place of dating. Which is not the name of one of her ex-boyfriends that caused her to not want to get into steady relationships?

Answer: Bobby

Throughout season three, we notice that Faith does not trust others easily. In 'Revelations' Faith is telling Buffy about her failed love life. She believes herself to be a "loser magnet" which is the leading reason to her trust issues. She lists three names of her tragic relationships; Ronnie the Deadbeat, Steve the Klepto, and Kenny the Drummer.
10. In 'Wild at Heart', Oz tragically tells Willow that he must leave town to control his wolf problem. He promises to be back and he does indeed come back in which episode?

Answer: New Moon Rising

After Oz leaves Sunnydale and the love of his life, he returns in 'New Moon Rising' to show Willow that he has kept his promise and has learned to control his werewolf dilemma. Sadly, Willow must turn the tables and tell him that she wants to be with Tara, causing Oz to leave once again.
