1. His first wife passed away, and then he remarried. He lived in Arizona the entire time he was on the show, and was buried there. He also has had two daughters, but he only helped to raise one of them- he hadn't even ever met the older one until his Alzheimer's had gotten pretty serious. Who is this character?

Answer: Charles Jackson

Graham Jarvis appeared as "Grandpa" Charles Jackson, Annie's (and later discovered Lily's) father, in 15 episodes of "7th Heaven". The last episode he appeared in was also his last acting television appearence of his life, in "We Do". This was the episode when Lucy and Kevin get married.

This particular episode first aired on April 21, 2003, just five days after he died. Twenty-one episodes later, in the next season, "7th Heaven" finally let the audience know that not only Graham Jarvis was dead, but Charles Jackson was, too.

The episode that aired on February 23, 2004, "Two Weddings, an Engagement, and a Funeral", starts out as if Charles Jackson is still alive, but at the end of the episode it is shown that this episode was, in fact, dedicated to the memory of Graham Jarvis.

They show photographs of him as a boy through his old age. He played a major part in "7th Heaven"!

2. This man wasn't only the doctor who almost killed Matt when he was born, but ended up marrying a relative of the Camden family. Oh yeah, did you know he does card tricks? Who is this man?

Answer: Hank Hastings

I made up the name Luke Fribba- hope you didn't fall for it. Dr. Hank Hastings is a gynecologist, and he is the person who married Julie Camden (Eric's sister). He also inspired Matt to not only be a doctor, but to be a gynecologist! In addition, he got Matt his first long-lasting job- working in the hospital (first in the cafeteria, then as an orderly). Ed Begley Jr. appeared in 15 episodes of "7th Heaven", through season eight, as the Jewish Dr. Hank Hastings.

Kevin Kinkirk is the police officer who married Lucy.

Carlos Rivera is the homeless guy in one episode who ended up marrying Mary and together they had the child Charles Miguel Rivera, who viewers have seen much more than Mary (if we've seen her at all) since he was born.

3. This woman lives in the neigborhood. She also goes to Eric's church (Glenoak Community Church). And she loves to gossip. Who is she?

Answer: Mrs. Beeker

Edie McClurg played Mrs. Beeker in "7th Heaven". It seemed her last appearance was in the season five episode, "Gossip", as she played her in one episode of season 5, one of season 4, "Life is Too Beautiful", one of season 3, "The Tribes that Bind", and one of season 1, "What Will People Say?". However, she reappeared in the season 9 episode, "The Fine Art of Parenting". She has always been hilarious in the show.

Some people may recognize Edie McClurg's voice as she also played Violet Stimpleton in "Rocket Power", and Mrs. Violet Bleakman in "Clifford the Big Red Dog".

4. This character was always the sweetest thing, always trying to protect Simon's feelings. She knew Eric before she knew Simon, but Simon didn't find that out for a while. She was in remission for Leukemia, which is why she knew Eric. When her parents got divorced, she had to move away. Poor Simon! Who was this girl?

Answer: Deena Stewart

Nicole Cherie (sometimes credited as Nicole Cherie Saletta, and who also is the sister of Sam Saletta, who played George on "7th Heaven", Eric's adopted brother) played Deena Stewart. She appeared in 17 episodes of "7th Heaven", plus the episode, "One Hundred", where practically everyone who Eric has helped throughout the series so far at that point appears. ("One Hundred" was the 100th episode of "7th Heaven", where Eric forgets it's his birthday, and no one tells him until his surprise birthday party at the end. All the people appearing in the surprise party are uncredited, including Nicole.)

5. This boy had a little sister, an older sister, and an older brother. His father is a minister, just like Simon's father. He and Simon were best friends for a while, until the actor playing him stopped acting (he said he "grew out of it"). He once asked, during grace, "Dear God, please stop the fires."

Answer: Nigel Hamilton

Nigel Hamilton was one of Reverand Morgan Hamilton's children in the show. The fact that they were black was addressed quite a few times. Nigel Hamilton was played by David Netter in 9 episodes of "7th Heaven". In two of them he was a co-star, not a guest star, meaning he had a very big part. (John was the oldest of his siblings, George was the kid that was adopted by the Colonel and Ruth, and "PK" is the nickname people have for "Preacher's Kid" in this show.)

6. This character, a member on the girls varsity basketball team was mean to Mary at one point, and then became Mary's friend. Turns out she is a teen mother. It seems as if the show wanted viewers to assume Wilson ended up marrying her in the beginning of season 9. Who is she?

Answer: Corey Conway

Corey Conway was played by Alicia Leigh Willis. This recurring role started Alicia's acting career. At first, during the series, she was the most dominant senior on the basketball team who helped try to persuade freshman Mary to get a tattoo, steal a glass from the varsity resturant, etc.

Then she ended up graduating from high school in the same year as Mary (don't ask me how), and almost was awarded the "All Sports Award" with Mary, until the truth that she is a teen mother escapes, and she is revoked the chance to recieve the award. Mary ends up giving the award to Corey in front of everyone.

7. This character was in every season of "7th Heaven" through season 10, which is unique for never having been a star. He has helped Eric out with many of his minister-related problems. Simon has asked for this man's help on at least two occasions, one regarding a gun, the second a pregnant friend. Annie compared Kevin to this character to defend using her "own private" police officer. What was the name of this character on his first few appearances on the show?

Answer: Sergeant Michaels

With an unheard of 43 appearances on "7th Heaven", only counting episodes through the episode "Got MLK?" in season 10, Christopher Michael played the beloved character starting out as Sergeant, and then Detective, and finally Captain Michaels.

8. Nobody, except Chandler, Eric, Mrs. Hinkle, possibly Matt, and that Fred guy viewers meet in one episode, then (in the same episode) she marries, have liked this woman who never goes to church. She was hesitant to let Chandler and Eric know that she had been diagnosed cancer. She used bribes as a means of convincing people to give to fundraisers. Who is this woman again?

Answer: Gladys Bink

Eileen Brennan plays Mrs. Gladys Bink in 7 episodes of "7th Heaven". See where I got that first name from? Eileen Brennan played Dottie McGrail in one episode of the TV show "Jumanji" (a TV show series based on the movie). And Marge came from an episode of "Lizzie McGuire" where she simply played "Marge". Can't you see all of those first names fitting her? Maybe not.

9. Not counting the episode "One Hundred", this teenage father (and later boyfriend of Mary's) appeared in 23 episodes of "7th Heaven". He first met Mary in the park during "Dangerous Liasons (1)". Later he moved to New York, only to meet up with Mary again there. He has proposed to Mary. His son, Billy, was just a baby when you first saw him, but he grew up quite a bit when he wanted Mary to be his mommy in 2001 and 2002.

Answer: Wilson West

Andrew Keegan played Wilson West in "7th Heaven". He played Wilson in 9 episodes from 1997 to 1998, in he last two of season 1, and then seven of season 2. He appears once in season 3, none of season 4, three of season 5, nine of season 6, and one of season 9. With 22 total appearances in "7th Heaven", plus a cameo appearance in season 9, he has played a very key part in "7th Heaven".

10. This man has been caught stealing from the church! He has an autistic son. He once wrongly thought that Eric, while begging for a raise, was buying a convertible, and remodeling the church's house. And don't forget how Annie hit the poor deacon when he hired Chandler as associate pastor. This had gotten Eric all worked up while he was still recovering from open heart surgery. Who is he?

Answer: Lou Dalton

Alan Fudge appeared in 18 episodes of "7th Heaven" up through the season 10 episode, "It's Late". You always know he's there, because he works at the church. He's always been an important part of the show. Plus, Annie and Eric mention "Lou" in many episodes that don't even contain him. This adds to the amount a viewer pictures him in his/her mind, and consequently builds up the character. Where would Glenoak Community Church be without you, Lou?
