Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What is the name of the older guy Clover wants to date?

Answer: Rick

Rick is Clover's latest infatuation, but since he is older, Clover thinks she has to act more mature to get him to like her. She tries to alter appearance, but has a hard time adjusting.
2. What is this episode's villain doing to innocent people?

Answer: mind control

The villain in "Child's Play" is an evil toy maker. He wants everyone to buy only his toys, so he is using mind control to make them act like children and only pay attention to his products.
3. What is the villain using to interfere with people's lives?

Answer: dolls

The evil toy maker is hiding a computer chip in his dolls; whenever someone looks at the doll's eyes, they are hit with a hypnotic beam that makes them revert to the mental state of a child.
4. Which member of the WOOHP team is victimized by the villain's scheme?

Answer: Sam

Each spy is the continual victim of the same type of scheme throughout the series. Clover usually gets kidnapped, Alex usually makes unintelligent decisions, Sam usually has her mind tampered with, and Jerry is of course the boss who briefs the girls on their missions.
5. What is the name of the tracking device Jerry gives the spies?

Answer: TAD

Since Sam has basically become a child, she has a short attention span and wanders off frequently. As such, the tracking device is handy for keeping track of her.
6. Where is the villain's hideout?

Answer: factory

The toy maker owns a factory where he puts the mind control chips in his dolls. Sam, Clover, and Alex find three costumes for the dolls (which luckily happen to be life sized) and use them to infiltrate the factory. Unfortunately, Sam is still only interested in playing.
7. Sam almost perishes at the hideout but Clover and Alex save her. What almost happens to Sam that would have meant her death?

Answer: falls into a machine

Sam sees a conveyor belt and takes a ride on it; her child-like mind leads her to believe it will be fun. Unfortunately, the belt leads into a furnace, and Sam nearly falls into it. Right as she is about to, Clover and Alex grab hold of her legs and pull her back out.
8. What does the villain escape his hideout in?

Answer: sleigh

After escaping his sleigh, the villain plans to drop out his dolls with the mind control chips inside in order to hypnotize even more people. Sam thinks it would be fun to ride in a sleigh, and the toy maker lets her come along.
9. How is the villain stopped?

Answer: mind control

The villain/toymaker is very attached to his dolls, and when Clover and Alex threaten to drop his last one over the edge, he begs them not to. He thinks the doll in question is the only one without a mind control chip in it and hugs it; what he doesn't know is that Clover and Alex took a chip out of another doll and put it in the one he now has.

The villain agrees to change everyone back to normal once Clover and Alex threaten to ground him is he doesn't (thanks to the chip, the villain now has the mind of a child).
10. Who does another student confuse Clover for?

Answer: a teacher

Still trying to impress her older beau Rick, Clover is dressed in an outfit designed for older women; Jerry remarks that his mother has an outfit just like it. The student approaches Clover from behind and asks her where the classroom is that he is supposed to be in (the garb is what makes him think Clover is a teacher). Clover then growls at the student, who promptly runs off.
