After a guest speaker walked out on Jessie, Ellie contacted Caitlin and had her step in to take the speaker's place. She told Jessie that him and Caitlin should get to know each other and eventually ended up walking in on Jessie and Caitlin making out. Ellie flipped out and confronted Caitlin about her hooking up with Jessie during her interview and called her a slut in front of the students.

After the girl from Purple Dragon commented on Emma's body weight, Emma decided to take a stand against Purple Dragon. She got up on stage in her Purple Dragon dress and started to make a speech about body issues when the girl from Purple Dragon told her to "shut up or take the dress off". Emma then pushed her and said "I will not shut up" and took the dress off which left her standing in nothing but her underwear in front of the entire student body.

After Manny's father caught Manny and Jay kissing, Manny told her father that they were kissing in celebration of their engagement. Jay agreed to along with the fake engagement idea because he had feelings for Manny. Manny went along with the idea not only because she had feelings for Jay but also because she knew pretending to be engaged would cause her parents to give her more freedom.

After Darcy found out she had been raped, she turned to Mr. Simpson as her confident. After acting inappropriately towards him and threatening to cut herself with scissors if he didn't talk to her, Simpson decided to stage an intervention. He scheduled a meeting with her mother and Ms. Hatzilakos and told Darcy that it was time for her to confess about the rape. Feeling betrayed by Simpson's actions Darcy told her mother and Ms. Hatzilakos that Simpson touched her inappropriately and made her feel uncomfortable. Darcy's lie tarnished Simpson's reputation and had him put under investigation by the school board. Darcy later recanted and admitted it was a lie but the damage had already been done.

When Manny told Jay that he was smothering her and that she was calling off the fake engagement, Jay switched her demo tape with a tape of him and Manny making out in the garage. After telling Jimmy and Spinner what he had done, Jimmy talked him to his senses and told him he had to go and make it right before Manny blew her audition. Jay arrived to the audition too late, and Manny tanked her audition. Jay eventually went to speak to the Theatre teacher on behalf of Manny and got her another audition that Manny did so well on that she got accepted to Smithdale on the spot.

When Manny found out that the "fake" engagement ring that Jay gave her was real and worth $5,000, she got the idea to pawn the ring to pay for plane tickets for her and Jay to go to Malta so she could meet his parents. The only problem was Jay lied about his parents living in Malta and the ring was a priceless family heirloom that belonged to his dead mother. Yikes!

Paige and Griffin had a mutual attraction for each other. After receiving Marco's blessing to hook up with Paige, Paige and Griffin became intimate. The morning after Paige and Griffin had sex, Paige realized that Griffin left his wallet on her nightstand and went to his room to return it.

While in his room she noticed his pills and read the prescription and immediately realized it was the HIV cocktail. She then told Marco and Ellie that Griffin was HIV positive and confronted him as soon as he got home. Griffin later revealed that he was born with HIV and contracted it from his mother who was a junkie.

Manny told Jay that they would figure out a way to get the engagement ring back legally and that doing things the easy and illegal way was the way the old Jay operated. They tried auctioning off their tickets to Malta but when it sold for a little under $600, Jay felt desperate.

He broke into the pawn shop, despite Manny telling him not to, and stole the ring back. While walking past the pawn shop Manny noticed the broken window and crime scene tape and knew that Jay had lied to her and resorted to his old ways.

She felt betrayed and disappointed with him and broke up with him, calling off the engagement and everything.

Peter, Spinner, Sav and Danny were all in a secret band called Studz. At first no one knew who they were, due to the fact that they wore bunny masks. As time went by people started to figure out who the band members were. They gained a lot of.popularity and were even voted into the Battle of the Bands competition.

Toby had developed feelings for Liberty and became jealous of Damian after realizing that Liberty had feelings for him. Liberty trusted Toby as her confident and let him know that her and Damian had made out, despite the fact that he was dating Emma. After Damian came bragging about it to Toby, Toby blurted it out loudly for everyone in the room to hear, including Emma.
