'Desperate Housewives': Season 4 Quiz

As Susan has abnormal results and is experiencing 'night sweats', Adam seems to hint that she is going through the menopause. This sends Susan into a state of disarray, leaving her telling Mike off for discarding eggs that have gone off.

After he accepts that she cannot have children they find out that she is pregnant with a little boy they later call MJ.

Edie Britt planned to stage a suicide attempt as a cry for Carlos' attention at the end of season 3. Carlos was distracted by Mrs McCluskey, so Edie's injuries were a little more severe than she'd hoped. However he remained by her side whilst she recovered, even if he was popping out to have an affair with Gabby a lot of the time.

Gabrielle married Victor Lang in season 3, she conducts an affair with Carlos during this fourth season. After Victor discovers her affair, she is worried what he is going to do to her after he takes her on a boat trip. During the boat trip he reaches inside a picnic hamper, Gabby mistakenly thinks he is going for a gun so knocks him overboard with a paddle.

A tornado hits Wisteria Lane causing many inhabitants to go into hiding, including Lynette and Karen hiding in a bath tub. Victor Lang is outside fighting with Carlos during the tornado and a stake from a fence stabs through his chest killing him in an instant.

Due to Lynette's chemotherapy, she has been feeling unwell so is not eating properly. To help her regain her appetite, her mother purchases weed from Andrew Van De Kamp and bakes brownies laced with them. Lynette enjoys the brownies so much that she takes them around to Susan's charade party where Tom has to promptly confiscate them.

Mary Alice committed suicide in the first ever episode of 'Desperate Housewives' and has narrated a lot of the episodes ever since. The first season was based around the reasons why she killed herself.
