J.D. was named after the first and only president of the Confederate States of America (1861-1865). In one episode, J.D.'s twin brother Abraham Lincoln Hogg comes to Hazzard and causes havoc for his scheming brother.

Actually, Rosco was briefly married to a woman he met via a computer dating service. Unfortunately for poor Rosco, she turned out to be an accomplice to a robbery scheme. The episode was aptly named "Mrs. Rosco P. Coltrane".

Hazzard Garage was often a safe haven for Bo and Luke when they were on the run from the law. Cooter bailed them out of trouble many times by fixing the General Lee and usually just in the nick of time.

Actually, the reason that Bo and Luke briefly left the show was in fact a contract dispute between the production company and John Schneider (Bo) and Tom Wopat (Luke). Schneider and Wopat later returned to the show to finish out the series.

Answer: Ran moonshine

That's right y'all, they illegally produced and ran moonshine. Hard to believe that righteous Uncle Jesse could have done such a thing. They were caught, however, and Jesse made a promise to the "Federal U.S. of A. government" that for the sake of his family, he would never run moonshine again.

Answer: Georgia

Hazzard County was situated in the mountains of northern Georgia.

Answer: "Lost Sheep"
