"I love Lucy" aired during the years 1951-1957, and starred Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz, Vivian Vance and William Frawley. Lucille portrayed a funny, naive woman who was always getting into trouble. In the earlier series, she was a secretary in a bank and then she played a mother with two children. Her neighbours Ethel and Fred were always around to help her out in any situation.

His wife didn't want to leave because she preferred the social life of New York. One of the neighbours had a pig called Arnold who stole the show, because he could turn on the couple's television and then start watching it.

"Leave It To Beaver" was a comedy sitcom which featured in 1957-1963 and starred Barbara Billingsley, Hugh Beaumont, Tony Dow and Jerry Mathers. This show was about an all American family and their inquisitive son's adventures at home and school.

"The Addams Family" was a comedy sitcom during 1964-1966, which starred Carolyn Jones, John Astin and Jackie Coogan. This show was about an odd looking extended family and their supernatural abilities. They were a very wealthy family who trusted anyone coming to their door, even when they were trying to steal their money. Visitors were often scared by the tall, colorless butler called Lurch and the people eating plants that were being grown in an adjoining room.

A hand coming out of a box and a very hairy subject called Cousin Itt were also featured on the show.
