Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What type of creature was Edward R. Furrow?

Answer: Badger

Edward R. Furrow was a psychiatrist who, having seen Wade's fearful reactions to various innocuous items, offered to treat his fear problems. When the wolf happened by, Wade abandoned the session and was replaced by Sheldon. Furrow didn't seem to notice.
2. What was the name of the car that fell in love with Jon?

Answer: Abigail

After buying a new car from Madman Murray, who had just sold Jon a defective television two episodes before (really, you'd think Jon would have learned his lesson), Jon went out on a date with a fine young woman. The car continually insulted her, however, so the date lasted for even less time than Jon's dates usually do. Though the car made amorous advances toward Jon, she eventually revealed that her true love was that guy at the airport who tells you not to park in the white zone.

They were reunited, and the episode had a happy ending.
3. What was the name of the mad scientist who lived in a castle in the woods near Orson's farm?

Answer: Dr. Karloffis Bor

The scientist built an incredibly stupid giant robot that fell into the moat around his castle. Once it got out of the water, though, it was still covered in pond scum, creating the illusion that it was actually an incredibly stupid swamp monster. Thus, the title of the episode was "The Incredibly Stupid Swamp Monster".
4. Car insurance forms had to be notarized by a person with what name?

Answer: Vivian

When the estimate to fix Jon's car totaled the gross national product of some small countries, Jon decided to have his insurance pay for it. Though the insurance company initially refused to pay, they finally relented when Garfield drove the car through the front wall of their building.
5. What was the name of the head of the Kitty Council?

Answer: George

When Nermal was charged with "being too darn cute", he pled guilty on all counts. However, he avoided conviction by showing the council that being cute can actually be beneficial; whenever Nermal acted cute in front of someone, they would give him a large amount of either food or money.

The result was that the Kitty Council decided to take lessons from Nermal on being cute, much to Garfield's dismay.
6. What did the farmer who discovered the meteorite on his farm think the meteorite was?

Answer: Fruitcake

As one does with fruitcakes, the farmer immediately sent it to the relative he most disliked. This chain continued for 37 years until it found its way to Garfield's house, where its cosmic powers began bringing all of the food in the refrigerator to life. Garfield dispatched with this problem very quickly. I'll give you one guess as to how.
7. Which of these was NOT one of the 77 dwarfs?

Answer: Ashamed

Among the other dwarves were such names as Confused, Flabbergasted, and Certain.

In another story made real by Orson's imagination, Snow White... er, Snow Wade... found herself in mortal danger from the Evil Queen, who wanted Snow Wade's gizzard cut out and brought to her. Her servants couldn't bear to kill Snow Wade, however, so they hid her safely away in the woods in the home of the 77 dwarfs.
8. Name one of the two countries Jon was thinking of moving to after being challenged to a wrestling match by the Masked Mauler.

Answer: Argentina

Since the Masked Mauler couldn't get a fight with any other wrestlers because he didn't follow the scripts, he decided to pick a fight with Jon in retaliation for Garfield eating his pizza. Jon fainted, but Garfield won the match. Naturally.
9. What was the name of the Wright brothers' cat, who successfully engineered the first powered flight?

Answer: McKinley

Inspired by the invention of moving pictures, Orville and Wilbur Wright decided that they wanted to build a flying machine. Unfortunately, this meant that they had no time to feed their cat, so McKinley decided to fly the plane himself. He was lighter than either of the brothers, so the airplane was able to take off.
10. Which of these was NOT a question that the wolf (posing as a game show host) asked Roy, where answering all of them correctly would win him a trip to Fiji?

Answer: How many beans are there in a three-bean salad?

Obviously, this was just a ruse to get Roy away from the henhouse so that the wolf could steal the chickens unhindered. Surprisingly, it actually worked (or unsurprisingly, depending on your opinion of Roy's intelligence).
