Jason woke up just as Dr. Thomas was about to inject digitalis into his IV. He grabbed the doctor's arm and thwarted his attempt at murder.

2. Who did Dr. Thomas take as a hostage when he fled the hospital?

Answer: Sam

Dr. Thomas used Sam as his hostage when he escaped from the hospital by commandeering a medical helicopter. Before he departed, he injected Sam with digitalis; luckily, Emily was able to administer the correct antidote and save her life. Monica was also taken as a hostage, but not at the hospital; she was taken at the Quatermaine mansion.

3. How did Sonny find out the truth about Reese?

Answer: Reese told him.

Sonny asked Reese to move in with him. She decided to tell him the truth about who she really was and her past with Carly before taking the step.
