Maxie had just gotten home from the hospital, and was supposed to be resting quietly. Mac wanted to know what the girls were doing in the attic, so Maxie had to think fast to keep Jesse from being caught. She explained that, when she and Kyle were dating, he used to sneak into the attic through the window for private moments with her.

She told Mac that she was showing Georgie how she and Dylan could do the same thing.

General Hospital was in dire straits because it was being sued by Durant and Alan had forgotten to renew the hospital's insurance policy.
