Although Courtney was initially worried about inviting Sonny and Carly to the wedding since they both disliked the groom, she decided to include them once they both promised to be supportive and not disrupt the ceremony. Carly was the matron of honor; she spoke up when the minister asked if there were any objections to the wedding. Lady Jane also ended up attending the wedding, even though she was opposed to her son marrying Courtney. Jason visited Courtney before the ceremony and wished her well, but did not attend.
