Dan said he could describe the house as a Catholic fraternity. All of the residents dedicated themselves to church-related causes, but Dan was the only one considering the priesthood at the time.

Joe's girlfriend was also attending World Youth Day. He waited until late in the day to call her, however, and she later broke up with him.
