1. When the Goodies are going to sleep what does Graeme use as a pillow?

Answer: A blown up paper bag

Tim sees Graeme do this and tries it himself. The second he puts his head on it the bag explodes and Tim's head bounces off the bench he is laid on!

2. What name does Bill give to the Goodies famous three seater bike?

Answer: Buttercup

Tim and Graeme think Bill has gone nuts when he starts to act as though the bike is a living thing when they decide they will have to sell it.

3. What does Bill sell the bike for?

Answer: A tin of baked beans

Of course when Bill brings the tin back Tim and Graeme are not happy. They procede to pour the beans over Bill's head. Then Graeme has a brainwave and plants one of the beans, causing the beanstalk to grow.

4. Once planted the beanstalk travels to many different places. Where does it end up?

Answer: Mount Everest

On its travels the beanstalk goes across the English Channel, through France and even pushes a newsreader out of the studio and straight in to someones front room.

'It's a Knockout!' was a very popular gameshow at the time and it is fun to see the wacky kind of games played on the gameshow on 'The Goodies'. These include crossing a pirahna infested pool and kissing a princess to wake her up.

7. Who is on the island trying to knock out the 'It's a Knockout!' contestants with coconuts?

Answer: Man Friday

When Man Friday tries to hit the Goodies with coconuts they catch them in their hats and go on to climb the beanstalk.

The Goodies manage to hoist themselves over the butter onto a huge leaf on the beanstalk.

9. When they get to the top of the beanstalk what do the Goodies do?

Answer: Make a tune using echoes

Boop, boop, be doop! This is one of my favourite scenes of the episode. Eventually the echoes annoy Graeme and he uses some knobs on the mountain wall to turn the echoes off.

10. Soon the Goodies find a castle and Bill is drawn in there by a hypnotising tune. What does Bill find inside the castle?

Answer: Hens laying golden eggs

Bill goes up to one of the caged hens and agitates it by clucking very loudly. Instead of laying a golden egg it lays a solid gold bar!

The 'giant' is actually smaller than Tim and Graeme!

Answer: Lofty

Lofty has a giant mug with his name on it, among other giant things that he cannot use properly as he is not really a giant. This includes a giant toilet...

The giant geese drop giant egges on the Goodies. They range from hard boiled to raw eggs and there is even a bouncing bomb type egg!

He falls out of the beanstalk and pops the ballons neede to win with a pin. He then sells them off on the streets.

15. Who guest stars at the end of the episode as the Genie of the baked bean tin?

Answer: John Cleese

Tim rubs a bit of dirt off the tin and out pops John Cleese. He proceeds to call the show a 'kids show' and then disappears again leaving Tim about to burst out laughing.
The other three have all guest stared in 'The Goodies' at some point.
