1. In which type of building is "Green Wing" set?

Answer: Hospital

"Green Wing" is set in the fictional hospital of East Hampton. The programme was actually filmed in 2 real, working hospitals. Apparently they wanted to create a realistic atmosphere, so many of the extras are actually hospital staff and patients.

2. In the first ever episode, which character has to spend the night in her car, having had housing problems?

Answer: Caroline Todd

Caroline Todd, played by Tamsin Grieg, has trouble getting into her brother's house, and so has to resort to the car. She has to spend the second night at the flat of Guy Secretan, the would-be lothario of the hospital, if only any girls found him as attractive as he finds himself!

3. Which member of the Human Resources department has a crush on Martin?

Answer: Karen

Karen tries to come onto Martin, played by Karl Theobald, during the housewarming party at Caroline's, but he only has eyes for Caroline, who only has eyes for Mac!

4. Who of the following people does Caroline not kiss during her housewarming party?

Answer: Boyce

At the housewarming party, Boyce is too busy getting it together with Kim from HR, but Caroline kisses the other three, as well as Martin! Actually, Sue kisses Caroline without her knowing too much about it!

5. With which character is Joanna Clore having an on again / off again relationship?

Answer: Alan Statham

Head of HR, Joanna, and Consultant Radiologist, Alan, had a relationship throughout the series, but Joanna ended it when she thought she was pregnant (it turned out to be a false alarm!). She liked Lyndon, who works for the Information Technology (IT) department, but he showed no interest in her!

Martin reads a letter of Guy's which alerts him to the fact that they share the same mother, head of Human Resources, Joanna Clore. Needless to say, Guy is none too pleased to know that he is related to Martin!

Answer: 4

Harriet has four boys, but finds out during the series that she is pregnant with her fifth child. Poor old Harriet has a hard time keeping track of the boys, and often leaves them somewhere she shouldn't!

8. What colour are the knickers that Angela accuses Caroline of stealing?

Answer: White

Angela thinks that Caroline has let her washing stack up and so has had to resort to stealing a pair of her knickers, her "white, tanga briefs", to be precise. They end up having a fight which the boys enjoy, but which Mac eventually breaks up.

9. What is Guy Secretan's middle name?

Answer: Valerie

As hard as it to believe, Guy has a girl's name as his middle name. Martin finds this amazing luck: "Roll on lunchtime, girls' names jokes a-go-go." Guy also admits that he was once a bridesmaid.

10. At the end of Series One, Guy, Mac and Martin are left hanging over the edge of a cliff. Which vehicle are they in?

Answer: Ambulance

Guy goes a bit crazy when he hears the news about Joanna being his mother, and so steals an ambulance and goes on a joyride. The series ends with the ambulance hanging perilously over a cliff edge, with viewers unsure who, if anyone, will survive!
