1. What is Lemuel Gulliver's profession?

Throughout the film there are several comments made referring to Lemuel's profession. Lemuel is a Doctor. Dr. Bates takes over Lemuel's old practice when Lemuel leaves England.

2. What is unusual about the first island where Lemuel supposedly was, which he speaks about?

Answer: Everyone is really small

In the first stop of Lemuel's travels, he describes being on an island where he appears to be a giant because everyone is incredibly tiny. This island is called Lilliput.

3. Why does Lemuel leave Lilliput?

Answer: There is a plot to have his eyes removed

After Lemuel refuses a demand, the Generals convince their father (the Emperor) to do something to make him more obedient. The Generals wish to kill him but the Emperor believes that is too drastic. They agree to simply have Lemuel's eyes removed. Luckily, Clustril, Lemuel's friend, warns him and Lemuel escapes.

4. What is the name of Lemuel's son?

Lemuel doesn't know that he has a son until he returns to England from his journey. We can assume that Mary was pregnant when Lemuel left England. His son's name is Tom Gulliver.

The Historian drugs Lemuel for several nights to use his blood to bring legends back from the dead while Lemuel remains in a trance and unaware. Lemuel finally realizes the wine is drugged and decided to drink none one night. The Historian brings forth Alexander the Great while Lemuel pretends to be drugged.

9. What does Lemuel offer the Immortal Gatekeeper in order to please her?

Answer: Giant wasp sting

In Lemuel's battle with Gildrig he fights three giant wasps. He kills the wasps and takes the stinger from one of them. He later gives this to the Immortal Gatekeeper so that he may pass through and not be killed.

Answer: "You are more Whinnem than Yahoo."

Mistress basically tells Lemuel to leave the island and he gets very upset. Lemuel asks Mistress if he is just another Yahoo. Before Lemuel is about to leave the island, Mistress walks up to him and says, "You are more Whinnem than Yahoo."
