Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. A patient dies on the table. The doctor performing the autopsy notes that Dr. Penza appears to have made mistakes on how many occasions?

Answer: Three

The doctor performing the autopsy begins his audio narrative of the procedure. The doctor dictates that this is the third recommendation for an investigation into Dr. Penza's diagnostic abilities and overall competence. The doctor has a very detailed chart of his analysis.
2. The doctor performing an autopsy does something quite unusual. What does he do?

Answer: He applies the scalpel to his own head.

The doctor makes his annotations into his recording device. Then he prepares to make the initial incision. He looks at the body, pauses, and then proceeds to make an incision into his own forehead. Someone else walks in and notices the mistake. Having made a lateral incision across his own forehead, he simply states, "I'm cold."
3. House drives into the parking lot on his motorcycle. How does Wilson arrive?

Answer: in a flashy car

House arrives on his motorcycle. Wilson drives up in a sporty red Corvette. Wilson has no idea on how to manage the car, though. House mildly chastises Wilson for his driving ability and his life choices.
4. As Foreman presents the case to the team, what is House's initial diagnosis?

Answer: Cotard delusion

House immediately suggests Cotard delusion or Walking Corpse Syndrome for the doctor. Even though it is quite rare, that is what House suggests. Foreman counters with the fact that the patient has had no prior history of mental illness.
5. When House learns the name of the patient, he suddenly develops an acute interest. What is the name of the patient?

Answer: Dr. Treiber

Dr. Treiber happens to be the most despised doctor in the hospital. He regularly points out the mistakes of his peers and generally makes life difficult for the other doctors. Now, House is interested.
6. As Park and Taub are examining the patient's station, what do they find?

Answer: many cans of Cardiac Cola

Taub and Park discover an inordinate amount of caffeine stimulants in the patient's work station. The product appears to be Cardiac Cola. House then suggests stimulant psychosis. The next course is hydration, however complications develop.
7. House cannot be reached by phone. Where are House and Wilson?

Answer: They are taking a road trip.

Wilson exhibits some indifference and atypical reckless behavior. He wants to go on a road trip to meet a childhood dream girl. House reluctantly accompanies Wilson on this escapade. As Wilson and House cruise down the highway, the song Radar Love is played in the background.
8. House and Wilson visit a nondescript diner. What does Wilson order?

Answer: Wilson orders The Big One.

The waitress takes their orders. House says, "Bacon burger with fries looks awful. I'll have that." Wilson declares, "I'll have the Big One." The waitress is skeptical. She says, "You sure? It's $79." Wilson replies, "Unless I finish it in an hour, in which case, it's free." This arouses the interest and amusement of the other patrons. Wilson insists that he will finish eating an 80 ounce steak within the hour and be inducted into the "Wall of Pain." House smiles.
9. In a particularly poignant moment, Wilson depicts regrets and ponders things he should have done. What is the name of the high school acquaintance that Wilson chooses as his alter-ego?

Answer: Kyle Calloway

As Wilson and House are making their return trip, Wilson confides in House about his sad romance with a high school sweetheart. Wilson recounts the time in which another guy went to the prom with Wilson's object of affection. This guy was very popular, had a car, a band and a mustache.

His name was Kyle Calloway. So, for a brief period of time, Wilson wants to be Kyle. Even so, House explains the deficits of Kyle. House says, "I can live without Kyle."
10. The patient has provided a seed of inspiration for Chase. What does Chase decide to do with it?

Answer: Chase decides to leave the team.

Chase took a great deal of import from what his patient had said. Chase decides to embark upon his own and leave the team. Foreman is genuinely happy for Chase and promises to give Chase his own team. House also accepts Chase's departure as a step toward professional development.
