Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. To whose cabin did the Griffins go in the beginning of the episode?

Answer: Quagmire's

In the beginning of the episode, the family drives through the countryside to get to Quagmire's cottage, which Peter anticipates will be the family's best vacation destination since they went on a trek with the Cliffhanger prop from "The Price is Right".

When they arrive at the cabin, they realize that Quagmire is also spending time with a lady upstairs. As a note, Cleveland also went on vacation at "The Price is Right", but he spent his time as a Plinko Chip.
2. Which "Happy Days" star do the Griffins encounter in the forest?

Answer: Donny Most

While at the cottage, the Griffins spend a fair bit of time in the wilderness. Peter and Chris encounter large forest bugs (including an oversized bumblebee that decides not to sting the two and cause his death) while Brian and Stewie spend the afternoon picking berries in a meadow.

The family encounters Danny Most rising from the forest mists (which occurs once every hundred years) and Quagmire tells the family a spooky campfire tale.
3. After the Griffins' hair falls out, they wear wigs. What movie do their lives resemble during this period?

Answer: Amadeus

The family decides to go for a swim in the nearby lake but they're shocked to discover that the water is making all of their hair fall out. This is due to the fact that the Quahog Oil Refinery is dumping toxic materials into the lake. The family ends up buying and wearing over-elaborate wigs following this event and they make themselves look like characters straight from the film "Amadeus". Stewie also begins playing the piano.
4. Which of these does Chris say that the Evil Monkey has become involved in?

Answer: Jehovah's Witnesses

Lois decides to have a talk with Mayor West regarding the environmental damages caused by the oil refinery. He claims that he does it because they give him free oil for his hair. Lois decides to run for Mayor against Adam West in the next election and the family helps out.

While Chris goes door-to-door (and only stopping at his own house), Peter creates t-shirts that would probably offend minorities.
5. When the guys help support Lois' campaign, who does Peter claim didn't do anything to help out?

Answer: Quagmire

After Mayor West continues to get the popular votes (with help from Jimmy Smits), Peter turns to the guys in order to get Lois more votes for Mayor. Joe ends up persuading people to vote for Lois while having them pick out felons in a police line-up while Peter and Cleveland make a public service announcement to say that a vote for Adam West would be bologna (and that Cleveland would know because he owns a deli). Peter points out Quagmire for not doing anything, but he claims that he slept with a lot of people to get their votes.
6. Which term does Lois repeatedly say that wins her the election?

Answer: 9/11!

At the mayoral debate, Adam West comes out on top by pressing his simplistic ideas on the audience and by seemingly connect with the voters. When Lois realizes that her ideas are too complicated to understand, she decides to dumb down her ideas and say stuff like '9/11 was bad.' Simply repeating the term '9/11' for every question gets her the votes that she needs and she wins the election. Footage of Ashley Ferl (of "American Idol" fame) crying symbolizes her victory.
7. How does Lois manage to shut down the Quahog Oil Refinery?

Answer: By raising taxes

After Lois wins the election, Brian helps her with her job and she decides that they should start by shutting down the Refinery near the lake. In order to do this, though, she forces the city to raise taxes. The public doesn't respond to this very warmly, but the voters change their mind when Lois advises them that higher taxes will wipe out terrorism for the city.

After this, she realizes that if she abuses her role as mayor, she can get what she wants.
8. What is the first thing that Lois buys with the tax money?

Answer: A handbag

After Lois shuts down the refinery, the community feels safe again and many locals frolic in the waters at the lake. When the media interviews happy local, Jason Voorhees, everybody realizes that Lois has done the right thing. Lois feels that she has done well and tries to treat herself to something nice, but she ends up using the town's tax money in order to make herself happy.
9. Which celebrity did Peter want to resurrect with the town's electricity?

Answer: John Belushi

Because of Lois' new power over the town, Peter figured that he was able to use the town's supply of electricity in order to resurrect John Belushi. Unfortunately, he brought Jim Varney back to life instead, by accident. This causes rolling blackouts in town. Meanwhile, Lois wants to buy a $4,300 fur coat, and instead of using town money, she gets a bit of help from the oil company to pay for it.
10. In the end, does Lois remain the Mayor?

Answer: No

After Lois lets Bob Grossbeard of the Quahog Oil Refinery buy her an expensive fur coat, she allows them to reopen the oil pipe that flows into the lake. Realizing that she got too greedy, she decides against it and closes the pipe again. She decides to leave the job because she feels it makes her greedy and Mayor West returns to his job.

He kills three people after he declares himself the mayor.
