Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Grounded best friend to the girl that doesn't know she's beautiful, although friends don't join friends for an eternal swim.

Answer: Barb

Poor Barb, best friend of the brainy princess, Nancy Wheeler. Barb was the reliable one providing Nancy a shoulder to cry upon and an excuse to see Steve when her parents weren't aware.
2. School yard bully with a vendetta against the AV club nerds, earned sky miles courtesy of Flight 0011.

Answer: James

The trio of Lucas, Dustin, and Mike are accosted and threatened several times over the course of Season One by Troy and his sidekick, James. Eleven sends James flying during and breaks Troy's arm with her mental prowess during their last attempt to hurt her friends.
3. Creator of the best french fries in Hawkins, Indiana. Feeder of silent, runaway, kleptomatic children.

Answer: Benny

Poor Benny, his only crime was trying to do the right thing. He catches a runaway Eleven stealing food from his diner. He recognizes something is wrong and tries to help the girl, unwittingly leading to his own murder/staged-suicide at the hands of those who want her back.
4. Favorite time of the year is Christmas. Truly terrible cashier with quite a bit of difficulty with rotary telephones.

Answer: Joyce

Poor Joyce has a long history of flakiness and bad taste in men. Still, her eccentric nature makes her one of the first to recognize the unseen as she reaches out to her missing child via Christmas lights and telephone calls.
5. Ever-present assistant who plies the boss with coffee and paperwork. Hawkins PD would be upside down without her.

Answer: Flo

Hopper's ever present secretary, Florence (fondly dubbed "Flo"), keeps him ready to work and heavily caffeinated. Without her, the Hawkins Police Station would be lost.
6. The only one that can dance with the Demogorgon as long as she has an unlimited supply of waffles.

Answer: Eleven

The amazing Eleven survived her abduction and experimentation as a lab rat as she's trained to become the ultimate weapon. She alone has seen the horrors of the Upside Down aided by her psychokinetic powers and sheer will, returned stronger.
7. Underlord of Castle Byers, expert at hide and seek when not choking on otherworldly slugs.

Answer: Will

The disappearance of Will Byers is the catalyst of the town's involvement in the strange phenomenon around the Hawkins National Laboratory...everything from his fake body in the morgue to the Christmas tree light show at the Byers' residence.
8. Grieving father with a badge who bends the rules risking what little he has left to solve the problem of missing people.

Answer: Hopper

Chief Hopper grew up in the small town of Hawkins and has connections to many of the town's residents. After the death of his daughter and divorce from his wife, he spent his nights in an alcohol-induced stupor. It wasn't until the disappearance of Will Byers that his professional abilities became challenged.
9. Incapable of entering a house except via a second floor window. High school popular guy showing some moxie wielding a barbed wire baseball bat.

Answer: Steve

Upper class and friends with the high school bullies, he stepped outside of his norm to pursue Nancy Wheeler, the beautiful, smart, older sister of Mike Wheeler. (as an aside, I thought this character was a jerk and was rooting for the Demogorgon to eat him, right up to the point he started being useful) The character surprisingly gets redemption when he puts aside his jealousy and jumps to the aid of others.
10. Toothless but clever Hawkins youth providing comic relief and solutions. Last person to see the Byers boy before his disappearance.

Answer: Dustin

Possibly the secret genius of the Hawkins foursome, Dustin had some of the best ideas (and one-liners) of Season One. He's the last person to see Will after challenging him to a bicycle race on their way home from game night.
