Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "Touch Me I'm Going To Scream, Part 1"- Which did not actually occur in this premiere episode?

Answer: Lucas married Lindsey

The episode began with Lucas dreaming about the women he had loved in his life. Before each marriage scenario, Luke talked to a man playing a 'guess which card' game on a street corner. When he awoke in the airport, the man dealing the cards out was standing before him. This man, Gus, may have been an angel because he knew all along who Luke proposed to. When Peyton arrived to join Luke on his flight to Vegas, Gus already knew it was her.
Psycho nanny Carrie was the one who hit Dan with the car! She then stole his wallet so he couldn't be quickly identified, kidnapped him from the ER and then transported him out to a secluded locale where she could torture and kill him! They made a beautiful couple!
Victoria threatened to take away control of Clothes Over Bros from Brooke, as Brooke had fired her. At the end of the episode, a man burst into the store and beat Brooke. He was probably there to steal her new designs for Victoria. Mouth and Millicent left Tree Hill so Mouth could start his new job in Omaha and Skills continued his affair with Deb. Nathan's injured began to cause him troubles again, and Peyton took Luke back the original hotel room to propose to her once again. He barely began to speak to her before she said 'yes'. She was taking no chances this time.
2. "One Million Billionth of a Millisecond on a Sunday Morning"- Who's killed at the end of the episode, after walking in on a convenience store robber?

Answer: Quentin Fields

In a sad and surprising twist bad boy turned good Quentin Fields was murdered after he walked into a robbery in progress. The look on his face revealed he knew what was to happen as he laid eyes on what was most likely the body of the store's cashier. Quentin first appeared last season as the bad boy basketballer at Tree Hill High. Mentored by Nathan and tutored by Haley, Quentin made amazing progress on and off the court.

He befriended young Jamie, and gave the youngster many fun nicknames. Jamie had his mom Haley making Quentin, or Q as Jamie called him, a cape just like his own. Now the young parents would have to tell their young son about the death of his beloved friend. Robbie Jones played Quentin Fields.
3. "Bridge Over Troubled Water"- After seeing a psychologist, Brooke went to New York and told Victoria she could have everything related to Clothes Over Bros.

Answer: True

Brooke told the doctor, played by Haviland Morris, that she knew her mother had arranged the break in at the store that resulted in Brooke's brutal attack. Then she went to New York and told her mom that life was too short. She found out that Victoria never wanted any children, and Victoria even admitted to Brooke that she knew she's taken some of that out on Brooke. Brooke told Victoria that she was divesting all her interests from the company and Victoria could have it all. She then left to go home to "her family".

Haley began looking into Dan's disappearance on Jamie's behalf; Peyton met a musician that could be her father; Nathan gave his OK to Deb to date Skills; and the Ravens decided to play the season with four players in honor of Quentin.
4. "You've Dug Your Own Grave, Now Lie In It."- After running from psycho Carrie, who saved Haley and Jamie?

Answer: Deb and Dan

Haley received a fake phone call (from Carrie) that stated Dan was dying in a hospice. So, she called Nathan and left him a voice mail to that affect. Then she took Jamie out to the address Carrie gave her so he could say goodbye. When she pulled up to the home, she became suspicious of the location and had Jamie stay inside the locked car while she investigated. Inside the home she found Dan tied down to his bed. He was drugged, but tried to warn Haley. Carrie hit her on the back of the head and then tried to get Jamie to unlock the car. Later, Haley and Jamie ran into a field of corn trying to escape the pursuing crazy nanny Carrie. Jamie went in first, then Carrie, and lastly Haley hid and waited until she could scoop up her son. On their way back toward the house, Deb hid behind Haley's car and smashed Carrie in the face full force as she ran up. Deb had recognized Carrie from a photo she found in the house after Haley had left. Carrie had earlier sat beside Deb in the park and talked to her a short time. The impact was brutal, but did not kill Carrie. So, Carrie tried to come after Haley and Deb one last time, in true horror movie fashion of "they never die", and Dan shot her from the front porch with her own gun. Apparently that didn't kill her either, as he was still dealing with her ridiculous ravings later that evening.

Also in the episode, Nathan went to try out for a professional basketball team, only to find out that they wanted him to be a coach. Peyton tried to connect more with Mick Wolf, who seemed to be her biological father. Luke went to New York to finalize the details of his book release, and at the same time tell Lindsey he and Peyton would be married soon.

Torrey DeVitto did an amazing job portraying the ever twisted nanny Carrie, and John Doe played Mick Wolf.
5. In episode six, "Choosing My Own Way of Life", Lucas began a book tour to promote his new novel "The Comet". Which character hooked up with Luke in Nebraska and then decided to move back to Tree Hill?

Answer: Mouth

Mouth had experienced great success as a TV sports anchor in Nebraska. His girlfriend Millie had already come home to help Brooke after she sold her company off to her mother. Mouth showed up at Luke's book signing, and was one of two people who came to see him.

The book tour was short lived, but Luke handled it with dignity and decided heading home to Peyton was not a bad thing. Mouth decided that despite his great success he wanted to return home where his friends and family all lived. Meanwhile, Peyton was trying to deal with her news that Mick was her reluctant biological father and Owen the bartender was trying to convince Nathan to play arena basketball.
6. "Messin' With the Kid"- Mouth was able to get a better deal at the Tree Hill TV station and then found out that his old girlfriend Gigi was his new intern.

Answer: True

Kelsey Chow reprised her role as Gigi Silveri. Gigi was Mouth's radio sidekick in the last year of highschool sports reporting. She was very quiet on air at first, but warmed up to it as time wore on. She and Mouth became a couple briefly. Now she was back, and more sexually promiscuous than ever before. Mouth kept bringing up that he had a girlfriend, but that didn't dissuade Gigi from talking about all of her lovers- male and female. Gigi and Millicent are very similar kinds of pretty, so I predict some jealousy from Millie.

Also in this episode- Brooke struggled with getting Samantha to trust her and found out that Sam's biological mom worked at a nearby diner. Peyton and Lucas worked on the pains of early cohabitation. Jamie dealt with a bully at school, and Nathan helped him take care of it. Dan took care of the bully's insensitive mother, but not before she and Haley had a physical altercation. Owen apologized to Brooke for disappearing on her earlier in the year and Nathan prepared for his Slam Ball career.
7. "Our Life is Not A Movie or Maybe"- Does Luke agree to turn his novel into a movie?

Answer: Yes

A movie producer named Julian (actor Austin Nichols) came to Tree Hill and offered to turn Luke's first novel into a movie. I am not sure how he did it, but the man convinced Luke to sign a contract without reading it. Of course, Julian agreed to allow Luke to write the script, have creative control and a producer credit. But, none of that was in the contract Luke signed without reading, it was all promised while drinking at Tric.

The man turned out to be from Peyton's past in Los Angeles and she looked none too happy to see him.
8. Which event did NOT occur in "Sympathy for the Devil"?

Answer: Haley and Nathan bought Jamie a horse

Sam showed Jamie that you could use a small amount of money, buy merchandise, and then resale it for a profit when supply became in demand. Haley found out about it and made Jamie pay his friends back all their money. Owen brought Brooke a lot of make up gifts, but in the end she admitted she wasn't sure they had a future.

At the end, Luke brought Julian his scene of Keith's death. While there, he saw a picture of the two of them that Julian had conveniently left out in the open. When he questioned her about it later, Peyton told Luke that she and Julian had been in love.
9. In "Even Fairy Tale Characters Would be Jealous", Peyton hosted a USO concert in honor of her brother Derek. Which act did NOT perform at the concert?

Answer: Taylor Swift

Haley performed first, after overcoming a minor bout of stage fright. Nathan did not attend, as he was recovering from his injury in his last slam ball game. While at home watching his team win the championship, Nathan had a long and interesting conversation with his imaginary friend Quentin Fields. Sam aided Peyton during the concert by becoming an assistant to Mia. Mia didn't need an assistant, so the two just hung out together.

This was Sam's way to repay Peyton for the destruction of her wedding gown.
10. Also in "Even Fairy Tale Characters Would be Jealous", was Julian able to convince Peyton to convince Luke do to the movie?

Answer: Yes

Luke hit Julian for not being honest about Peyton. Then later, at the concert, Julian tried to get Luke not to bail on the movie. Luke said he wanted nothing to do with it, but since his signature optioned the book over to Julian it was going to be made anyway. Julian was able to convince Peyton to convince Luke not to give up on the film despite their differences.

She was able to do so, stating that Luke would regret it being made without his voice behind it.
