Oh Ri-Jin is a psychiatrist throughout the drama. Her main job is at Kangnam Hospital, but she takes a break to act as Cha Do-Hyun's "secret physician." She does act as Do-Hyun's secretary, but this is only a cover-up. She never does any significant work as a secretary.

Her parents run a restaurant, but she jokes about her inability to cook, despite her mother's skill. She was prevented from being an heiress by her mother's in-laws.

Answer: Cha Do-Hyun at Club Paradise

Oh Ri-Jin has all of these encounters, but the first one is with Cha Do-Hyun at Club Paradise. After she accidentally knocks him over a railing, he metamorphoses and encounters her as Shin Se-Gi. This is when Shin Se-Gi gives his memorable "you called me from a long time ago" speech.

She first encountered him at the airport, but I really don't think that counts on Oh Ri-Jin's side, since she was so involved with her brother. It is most important from Cha Do-Hyun's perspective, since it convinced him that Ri-Jin was mentally ill.

Answer: To a hotel room full of toys and then to see fireworks.

This is one of my favorite episodes, since Se Gi is my favorite personality!

Shin Se-Gi remembers their childhood pact to go see fireworks together. Shin Se-Gi is the personality that carries the memories of his and Ri-Jin's time together as children, so he attempts to woo Ri-Jin away from Cha Do-Hyun with toys. She is naturally very confused! He acts the jerk for a good part of the episode, but the ending is beautiful and bittersweet. . .

Answer: He writes mystery novels.

Oh Ri-On writes mystery novels under the pseudonym Omega. He is very interested in the scandalous details in the past of the chaebol that Cha Do-Hyun comes from, Seungjin Group.

Answer: It's what Cha Do-Hyun's dad wanted to name his dream boat.

This is revealed fairly late in the drama. Little Cha Do-Hyun (actually named Joon-Young at this point) is talking with his father, Cha Joon-Pyo (this scene was really bothersome for me - I am used to this guy being the abusive villain, but here he seems to be every little boy's dream parent!). Joon-Young tells his father that he will give him a boat when he (Joon-Young) is older. What should its name be? Joon-Pyo thinks a bit and says "Perry Park."

We learn later that when Shin Se-Gi was fantasizing about getting revenge on Joon-Pyo, Do-Hyun created the 40-year-old, rough accented, dyed-in-the-wool fisherman personality as an impersonation of the love he still felt for his pre-abusive father.

Answer: At a mission school in America.

Ahn Yo-Sub is created after Cha Do-Hyun's first attempt at suicide at a mission school in America. Yo-Sub, the Korean form of Joseph, was Do-Hyun's baptismal name. Do-Hyun created the personality to deal with the shame of his unsuccessful attempt. Ahn Yo-Na, Yo-Sub's twin sister, was created to embody Do-Hyun's frantic desire to live after his attempted suicides.

Incidentally, Ri-Jin manages to entirely cure Yo-Sub of suicidal tendencies. It's a pity he never got to write that poem. And it's so sad when Ri-On interrupts his goodbye to Ri-Jin noona!

Even at the end of the drama, Ri-Jin's parents still think Cha Do-Hyun is the man their children introduced them to as "Perry Park." I have a sneaking suspicion that they, especially Mrs. Oh, may have guessed at the truth, but there is no proof.

Perry Park feels that as he is the oldest, he should set a good example to the younger personalities by leaving first. He heart-breakingly asks Ri Jin to "take care of his baby," Cha Do-Hyun. Alone of all the personalities, we see a vignette of him after his disappearance, opening a door and seeing the dream boat, the "Perry Park," that he had been named after. Perhaps he didn't entirely evaporate after all . . .

Realizing that the thing Shin Se-Gi most desired was herself, Ri Jin kisses him goodbye. It was the best gift she could have chosen . . .
