Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "I always hated crossbows. Take too long to load!"

Answer: Yoren

In season 2, Yoren was killed by Ser Amory Lorch after Yoren refused to give Ser Amory the location of Gendry. Gendry was one of King Robert's bastards, but Yoren defended him because he was going to be a brother of the Night's Watch.
2. "Say it. Say her name. Say it!"

Answer: Oberyn Martell

In season 4, Oberyn was killed by Ser Gregor Clegane during Tyrion Lannister's trial by combat. During King Robert's rebellion, Tywin Lannister ordered the murder of Elia Martell and her entire family, but Ser Gregor took it even further by butchering the children, then raping Elia before killing her. Oberyn was seeking revenge for her death, and almost had it, before making a fatal mistake.
3. "Dany please!"

Answer: Viserys Targaryen

In season 1, Viserys Targaryen was killed by Khal Drogo after he threatened to kill Daenerys and her baby if he didn't get the "golden crown" he deserved. Viserys was feeling like Khal Drogo didn't respect him and wasn't doing enough to put Viserys in the best position possible to win back the Iron Throne, so he starting lashing out at Khal Drogo and Dany. Khal Drogo didn't like that very much.
4. "Together we can end this war in a fortnight!"

Answer: Renly Baratheon

In season 2, Renly Baratheon was killed by Melisandre's shadow creature after negotiations with his brother Stannis failed. Catelyn Stark was sent to Storm's end to negotiate with Renly. Catelyn proposed the idea of Robb joining forces with Renly to defeat the Lannisters, and Renly accepted the terms.

However, immediately after the terms were agreed upon, a shadow crept into Renly's tent and stabbed him through the heart.
5. "We are the watchers on the wall!"

Answer: Qhorin Halfhand

In season 2, Qhorin Halfhand was killed by Jon Snow on his demands. Qhorin and Jon were both captured by a group of wildlings, and were on their way to Mance Rayder to face punishment (most likely death) when Qhorin told Jon he needed to do whatever he could do gain the wildling's trust. Qhorin knew that Mance would kill both of them, so he let Jon Snow kill him hoping the wildlings would allow him into their camp.
6. "You'll have to carry me."

Answer: Lommy

In season 2, Arya's friend and travel companion Lommy had an injured leg after being shot with an arrow. When they were captured, Lommy asked the captors to carry him. They killed him instead.
7. "He'll stab us in the back first chance he gets."

Answer: Orell

In season 3, Orell was killed by Jon Snow after Orell and the rest of the wildlings discovered that Jon was still a brother of the Night's Watch at heart instead of the wildling he was pretending to be. Jon was ordered to kill an innocent old man to prove he was loyal to the wildlings, and when he couldn't, Tormund Giantsbane told his men to kill Jon. During the fight, Jon kills Orell.
8. "Kill me and be cursed. You are no king of mine!"

Answer: Rickard Karstark

In season 3, Rickard Karstark was killed by Robb Stark after committing treason by killing two young innocent Lannisters. Back in season 2, Jaime Lannister killed Rickard Karstark's son, who was on guard duty, in order to free himself from his constraints.

After Jaime was re-captured, Rickard demanded Jaime pay for his crimes. He was denied the request. Still out for vengeance, Rickard and his men kill two Lannister captives as a sort of revenge for the death of his son. Due to Lord Karstark's disobedience, Robb sentenced him to die.
9. "Do you hear? Do you hear?"

Answer: Locke

In season 4, Locke was killed by Bran Stark (warging in Hodor's body) after Locke attempted to kidnap Bran. Locke was sent to the Wall by Roose Bolton to search for Bran and Rickon Stark. While there, he overhears Jon and Sam discussing the possibility of Bran being at Craster's Keep.

When Jon organizes a group of men to go to Craster's Keep to deal with the mutineers, Locke makes sure he is apart of that mission. Locke ends up finding Bran along with Hodor and the Reeds, and kidnaps Bran. Bran, being a warg, ends up warging into Hodor's body and runs after Locke, killing him in the process.
10. "It's nothing!"

Answer: Joffrey Baratheon

In season 4, Joffrey Baratheon was killed by Olenna Tyrell after she poisoned his wine during his wedding feast. Joffrey was betrothed to Margaery Tyrell, a match that Lady Olenna didn't like very much. Seizing an opportunity, Petyr Baelish reaches out to Lady Olenna proposing an idea. All Lady Olenna had to do was take the poison from Sansa Stark's necklace during the feast and place it in Joffrey's wine. With Joffrey dead, Margaery could marry Joffrey's younger brother Tommen, who is much easier to deal with in everyone's opinion.
11. "Do it quickly."

Answer: Maester Luwin

In season 2, Maester Luwin was killed by Osha on his demand after suffering a fatal wound from one of the Ironborn soldiers. After Ramsay Snow and his men surround Winterfell, Theon Greyjoy decides to rally up the few Greyjoy soldiers to fight. Knowing they will most likely die, Theon gives a speech.

After the speech, Theon is knocked unconscious by one of his men. Maester Luwin, confused, rushes to help Theon, but is stabbed in the process. Severely wounded, he still manages to make his way to the big weirdwood tree in the Godswood, where he is met by Bran, Rickon, Osha, and Hodor. Maester Luwin instructs the group to go to the Wall where he knows they will be safe.

As they are leaving, he tells Osha to put him out of his misery.
12. "Give me something for the pain, and let me die."

Answer: Robert Baratheon

In season 1, Robert Baratheon was killed by a boar after he drank too much wine and was attacked during a hunt. King Robert loved to hunt, and he loved to drink as well. During one of his hunts, he drinks too much wine, causing his hunting skills to weaken.

He is attacked by a wild boar, and is fatally wounded. What most likely occurred was Lancel Lannister, the King's squire, was instructed by Queen Cersei to give King Robert as much wine as possible so he wouldn't be fully prepared in case of an animal attack.

She probably did this because Ned was going to reveal the truth about the incest between Cersei and Jaime to him.
13. "Go with them."

Answer: Jojen Reed

In season 4, Jojen Reed was killed by an army of dead after journeying with Bran, Meera, and Hodor to meet the Three-Eyed Raven. Jojen knew he was going to die, but still made the journey because he knew of the importance.
14. "I shall have your head for this!"

Answer: Lord Commander Mormont

In season 3, Lord Commander Mormont was killed by Rast during the mutiny in Craster's Keep. While staying at Craster's Keep, one of the Night's Watchmen, Karl, decides to challenge Craster about the portions of food they are receiving. Karl ends up calling Craster a bastard, and kills Craster. A fight commences, and Rast, siding with Karl, kills Commander Mormont.
15. "Gods help you Theon Greyjoy. Now you are truly lost."

Answer: Rodrik Cassel

In season 2, Rodrik Cassel was beheaded by Theon Greyjoy for spitting in Theon's face. After Theon Greyjoy takes Winterfell with his men, Ser Rodrik is captured. Shocked with disgust, Ser Rodrik spits in Theon's face. When Theon orders Ser Rodrik to be placed in the dungeons, he is pressured into having Ser Rodrik pay the iron price for his crime...death.
