1. In which year was the first episode of "Doctors" aired?

Answer: 2000

"Doctors" first aired on 26th March 2000. The episode was called "Letting Go" and introduced the main characters of the show who worked at the Riverside Practice. Mac McGuire (played by Christopher Timothy) was the head partner of the general practice based in the fictional town of Letherbridge in Birmingham and his wife Kate (played by Maggie Cronin) was the office manager.

The episode dealt with an elderly couple dealing with the onset of Alzheimer's disease.
2. Georgina "George" Woodson was a doctor at the practice married to lawyer Ronnie Woodson. They had a daughter. What was her name?

Answer: Bracken

Initially Ronnie did not want children, but George secretly stopped taking the pill which resulted in her pregnancy. George, Ronnie, and Bracken left the show in 2009 after Ronnie was offered a job in China.
3. Karen Hollins, the receptionist at the Mill Health Centre is married to Rob, a local police sergeant. What are the names of their two children?

Karen (played by actress Jan Pearson) made her screen debut in February 2009. Her screen husband Rob is played by actor Chris Walker. Her daughter Imogen is played by Charlie Clemmow, and her son Jack by Nicholas Woodman.

This storyline was created to mark the 3000th episode of "Doctors". It mainly centred on the character of Police Sergeant Rob Hollins and revealed several aspects of his past life which had a major impact on him.

Gus Harper had been a patient of Doctor Jas Khella (played by Vineeta Rishi) who had developed an unhealthy obsession with her. He managed to install equipment in her house to spy on her. Al had a crush on Jas and she suspected that he was her stalker. However in the end Al was able to come to her aid and reveal the stalker as Gus.
9. Who did Ayesha Lee replace as the practice nurse at the Mill?

Answer: Mandy Marquez

Ayesha, played by actress Laura Rollins, first came to the Mill in September 2014. She has been in some strong storylines including one dealing with her relationship with her alcoholic mother, Bren, which resulted in her little sister, Sierra, being sent to live with her Auntie Tracy.
10. What is the name of the fictional bar that the staff of Mill frequent?

Answer: The Icon

The Icon Bar is a local bar close to the Mill Health Centre where the staff frequent. It seems to be the venue of choice during lunch hours, after hour drinks, and evening entertainment.
