After saying goodbye to her sister Rachel and promising her to return before she delivers her baby, Juliet is taken by Ethan Rom and Richard Alpert to a waiting room, in which can be seen the sign of "Herarat Aviation". Richard advises Juliet to drink a glass of orange juice with some tranquilizer, as the journey is pretty intense.

She eventually agrees and immediately falls asleep. When Juliet wakes up, she finds herself tied up to a bed in a dark room (which happens to be the others' submarine).

After being released by Ethan, she makes her way out to the exit and discovers that the place she's been brought is a tropical island.

Answer: Sabine

Juliet starts with her investigation, which consists on discovering why every single woman on the island that has got pregnant has died before giving birth. However, her progress is minimal and soon her experiments cause the death a woman named Sabine. Juliet suggests that the problem occurs during the baby's conception, so she asks Ben if she can take a woman from the island to Miami.

After receiving his denial, Juliet concludes there is nothing more she can do and demands being allowed to return home, so she can be with her sister once she delivers her baby.

Answer: Jacob

In order to keep Juliet from leaving the island, Ben informs her that Rachel's cancer has returned and she will die before giving birth. However, if Juliet stays in the island, he will make sure Rachel gets healthy. When Juliet asks how he is going to do that, he mentions the fact that nobody in the island has ever had cancer and also, that he will have Jacob himself take care of the problem.

Answer: Carrie

Three years after her arrival to the island, Juliet finds out that Ben has a tumor on his back. She quickly confronts him, demanding to know if he was lying all along when he said that nobody on the island had ever had cancer. This statement offends Ben, who claims that Rachel's cancer is indeed cured. Confused and astonished, Ben leaves, but not before denying Juliet, one more time, an opportunity to leave the island and return home.

The day of the crash of Oceanic 815, Ben tries to prove Juliet that he is not a liar and takes her to the Flame, where Mikhail is researching on the passengers that were on board of the doomed flight. After being requested by Ben, Mikhail uses one of the monitors to broadcast live footage of Arcadia Park.

It is then that Juliet sees a woman with long blond hair playing with a small child. She quickly recognizes her as her sister Rachel, who is now completely healthy. After proving he is not liar, Ben tells Juliet that it is time to restart her investigation, since there is a chance that they might find a good subject in one of the passengers of Oceanic 815.

Answer: Sawyer

After leaving the Barracks, the survivors and Juliet make their way back to the camp. Jack seems happy with Juliet's presence, but Sayid is not, so he takes his first opportunity to try to get some answers. Unfortunately, he is interrupted by Jack, who claims that no one is to force Juliet to do anything, as she is under his protection.

After this small incident, they start walking again until they eventually reach the beach. The three survivors, especially Jack, are received happily. However, the joy soon vanishes when Sawyer notices that one of the "others" has arrived to the camp as well.

Answer: Hurley

Once the situation has settled down, Juliet decides to sit alone in the beach, but she is quickly joined by Hurley, who has been sent to keep an eye on her. After confronting her for the others' crimes, Hurley mentions the incident with Ethan and even tells her the exact place where they buried him. That night, the survivors have a meeting to discuss the current situation, but the event doesn't last long, as a very ill Claire shows up and passes out in front of everyone.

Answer: Kidnap children, if there were any

When Juliet notices what is happening to Claire, she decides to talk to Jack and reveal him one of the secrets of the "others", concerning the situation with pregnant woman in the island. She tells him that one of the reasons Ethan infiltrated the camp, apart from making a list for Ben, was to take blood samples from Claire and administer her with a medicine.

However, when Hurley discovered that Ethan was never on the plane, he saw himself forced to take his own decisions and kidnap her. And now, Claire is experiencing withdrawal symptoms from the medicine.

She must be administered with it again, otherwise she will die. After receiving Jack's approval, Juliet ventures into the jungle to get the medicine, without knowing that she's being followed.

Answer: Sawyer - Sayid

As soon as Juliet gets to the spot where the medicine lies hidden, she is confronted by her two followers, Sayid and Sawyer, who have decided that it's time for some answers. Juliet, being aware of the two survivors' pasts, decides to attack them by reminding them of their crimes and revealing that if they don't let her return to the camp, Claire will die and it will be their entire fault. Juliet's plan works and she manages to return to the beach and administer the medicine.

Some time later, Claire wakes up, incapable of reminding anything about her near-death experience.

The survivors, seeing what happened, decide to let Juliet stay with them. Jack tells her the news, but also lets her know that they will need answers eventually. Juliet then asks him why he doesn't seem to be as curious as the others, to which Jack replies that he knows that Juliet is as eager as everyone in the beach to leave the island. "That makes you one of us", Jack says.

Once peace has returned to the camp, Juliet starts setting up her tent when a previous event suddenly strikes her memory. After Locke destroyed the submarine, Juliet and Ben had a meeting, in which the second reveals that everything Juliet has been doing so far was a plan orchestrated by the "others" in order to infiltrate again. Even Claire's sickness was caused by an implant set up by them, so when Juliet arrives, she could come up as a hero.

It appears that Juliet never broke her bond with the "others" and is likely to meet with them again, as the last words we hear Ben saying are: "See you in a week".
