Amidst a backdrop of pallets, machinery and a single long-haired worker, the caption reads: "Dharma Logistics Warehouse, Orute Peninsula, Guam." This is, in fact, a bona fide location and it is the residence of a U.S. Navy base. It's befitting though, that the location is relatively obscure.

Surprisingly, in this capacious industrial facility, there are only two workers. Their efficiency and diligence cannot be underestimated.

Benjamin Linus addresses the workers. Ben tells the workers that, "Your services are no longer required, gentlemen." Ben advises them that he is from the Home Office. One of the workers says, "Nobody from the Home Office has ever come out here." Benjamin replies, "There's a new man in charge. He sent me."

The workers are incredulous. They implore, "What are we supposed to do?" The representative from Dharma hands them an envelope. Indeed, the workers receive a plump envelope filled with 100 dollar bills. The representative says, "This is your severance pay. I'd say you can do pretty much anything you want." It seems to be enough to mollify the workers, but they have questions.

The workers are reluctant to believe that the Dharma Initiative has been out of service for twenty years. They suggest that their work is still current since they receive teletyped details about where to send material. The representative replies that this is the result of an obsolete automated system.

The representative says that teletyped messages come from the Lamp Post Station which is located in Los Angeles, California, USA. The main purpose of the Lamp Post Station is to make calculated predictions of the precise location of the island.

One of the workers, employing undeniable logic says that based on their location, the island must be based somewhere in the tropics. He says, "explain this," and produces a box labeled, "Polar Bear Fish Biscuits." "How does a Polar Bear get on a tropical island?"

The representative asks the workers if they own a DVD player. They say that they do. A DVD is presented and they watch it together. Apologies are made for the quality since it is a transfer from an old Betamax. The video begins with Pierre Chang narrating the orientation to the Hydra Station.
