Somewhat annoyed, Henry relates how he has found Radar's turtle in the shower three times in the past month. Henry suggests that the turtle is 'having an affair' with one of his corns. Radar's animal collection also includes racoons, rabbits, opossums and several other creatures.

Voltaire wrote, 'I disapprove of what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it.' Radar is famous for his neologisms, and 'releasal' is a great example of one.

Hawkeye inquires about the 'scratch', and Radar explains that it is not a scratch, but rather the remnant of a bite from a 'mutt' that Radar was feeding from kitchen scraps. Hawkeye immediately suggests that Radar might be in danger of contracting rabies from the dog, and insists that Radar find the animal.

Answer: Shell shock

Frank assigns Corporal Travis to Tokyo, commenting that he is suffering from 'shell shock' and that he is a 'typical psycho case'. Trapper responds, 'Frank, that's straight out of World War I, nobody thinks 'shell shock' anymore!' Trapper insists that Travis be kept at the 4077th for observation and Hawkeye agrees.

Answer: No

Major Freedman is too busy with things down in Seoul. Instead, he requests that Hawkeye try the new technique he has been developing. Essentially, the technique involves reverse psychology. Hawkeye acts brutally cruel towards Corporal Travis, hoping that his anger would spark a physical response.

Answer: Michael O'Keefe

Michael O'Keefe also portrays a soldier named Tom in the sixth season episode 'War of Nerves', which does feature Sidney Freedman in person. If you'll recall, Tom is particularly resentful of Dr. Freedman for having sent him back to the front and announces that he will never forgive poor Sidney. Michael O'Keefe starred in films such as 'Caddyshack', 'Nate and Hayes' and 'The Slugger's Wife'.

Answer: Abdomen

A series of 21 shots was formerly given for the rabies vaccination, though now the practice is to give intramuscular shots elsewhere in the body. Radar is forced to begin the series of rabies vaccination shots, much to his chagrin. Radar is seen laid up in the post-op ward with a fever while Margaret reads him a silly letter from an admirer back home.

Answer: Vailness

Hawkeye insists that 'vailness' is a word meaning 'A quality of vail; the act of 'vailing'; to be full of 'vaily''. Neither Henry or Trapper are buying Hawkeye's story, but ultimately they just accept his shenanigans. Henry is very depressed about Radar's current condition, and the fact that his remaining letters are 'x' and 'zikm'.

Answer: Baseball

Both Travis and Trapper are from Boston. Trapper asks if Travis is a Red Sox fan, and Travis responds that he 'grew up at Fenway'. They discuss Ted Williams, including the fact that he had recently been drafted for duty in Korea. Travis then opens up with Trapper about his traumatic experience with some enemy tanks. Travis is later able to overcome his self-imposed paralysis as a result of this cathartic conversation.

Answer: We do not know

Trapper and Henry chase after the mutt, but the dog's capture is never actually shown. In fact, in a moment of hilarity, the dog chases Henry and Trapper (both screaming 'mad dog!') during the last scene in which it is shown.
