1. How many times was Hawkeye a patient of the psychiatrist, Sidney Freedman?

Answer: 3

For starters, Sydney was called upon when Hawkeye was having violent nightmares about his childhood friends. Also, when Hawkeye started sneezing and itching for no apparent reason, Sidney was put on the job and was quite successful in cracking that case. Finally in the last episode, Hawkeye was exposed to something he couldn't deal with and spent a considerable amount of time in the psychiatric ward under Sidney's care.
2. What was the cowboy's first name?

Answer: John

When the cowboy received a double dear John letter from Reno, things
didn't look so good for Henry when he was stuck in the chopper with him.
