As Devon is sending a text message to Bernie, he is struck by a taxi cab. Just before his happens, a little girl with Shirley Temple hair walks past. This girl is seen several more times during the episode, particularly when something bad is about to happen. Presumably, this little girl is the representation of the angel of death.

Undoubtedly it is Tony who probably panics over paternity tests. McGee only panics during polygraph tests. In one scene, Abby has McGee strapped to an improvised polygraph machine and his asking him practice questions. She asks if he has any aliases. He mentions only his pen name, Thom E. Gemcity, and states that there are no others.

This reads as a lie. As Gibbs and Tony remind him, he also answers to Probie and Elf Lord.
