This quote is from the episode "Hung Out to Dry". Gibbs and Kate are trying to find a way to gain access to the Armed Forces DNA registry. After unsuccessfully trying to coerce a JAG lawyer into giving them access, they guilt him into giving them a search warrant that, in Abby's terms, is a little hinky.

This quote is also from the episode "Hung Out to Dry". People that work in law enforcement don't always like lawyers, and Gibbs is no exception. He takes offense that the Captain is implying that he might look like a lawyer.

This quote is from the season 1 episode "Seadog". Gibbs is trying to figure out what type of role two drug dealers played in the death of a serviceman. Gibbs threatens to ship both of them off to Guantanamo Bay unless they help him. Agent Fuller thought Gibbs was bluffing with that threat. Gibbs doesn't bluff, he would have found a way to ship them to Gitmo had they not cooperated.

This quote is from the episode "The Curse". In the military it is tradition that enlisted men and NCO's be called by their rank, and not by "sir" or "ma'am". In fact, it is often considered an insult to call enlisted men and NCO's "sir" or "ma'am". The soldiers that are on the front lines are made up mostly of enlisted personnel. Therefore, the pun that enlisted men are the ones that work for a living has been a long established one.

This quote is from the episode "Sub Rosa". In this episode, a whale-hugger sneaks his way onto a US Navy submarine and attempts to kill the entire crew with sarin gas. After Gibbs and the team foil his attempt, he swallows the canister of gas and then kills himself.

After the crew puts the body in the freezer to preserve it, the canister is triggered by the cold to release the gas. In order to get the body off the ship before the gas leaks out, Gibbs and the COB launched the body out of a torpedo tube.
