Answer: Friends

"Friends" had a first run in the U.S. from 1994-2004. It starred six friends who dealt with life in their 20s and 30s in New York. As the show went on, four of them paired off with each other, got married, and had kids.
2. Elliott, J.D., Turk

Answer: Scrubs

"Scrubs" followed Dr. John "J.D." Dorian for its first eight seasons as he went from an intern to a full fledged doctor. The last season it picked up with a new intern to follow as Dorian was written out of the show, though he did return for several episodes. It first ran from 2001-2010.
3. Norm, Woody, Sam

Answer: Cheers

Set in a Boston bar, the show followed bar employees and patrons through life. Over the course of many seasons, very few scenes were outside of the bar. The show first ran from 1982-1993.
4. Shawn, Juliet, Burton

Answer: Psych

Shawn Spencer (James Roday) is the son of a former police detective and has honed his skills so well that he can fake being a psychic. The show followed him, his friend Gus, and several police officers and others as they solved crimes. It first ran from 2006-14.
5. Hayden, Christine, Luthor

Answer: Coach

"Coach" followed a simple man through life as he coached a college and later professional football team. Along the way his staff remained mostly the same, but he met Christine, fell in love and they married and had a child. The show ran from 1989-97.

Answer: Matlock

The show ran from 1986-95. It followed Benjamin Matlock, a very expensive criminal lawyer who not only saved his clients, but found the real criminal each week. It was the second long-running TV series for star Andy Griffith.

Answer: Kojak

The show followed a lollipop sucking detective around as he worked to solve cases. It originally ran from 1973-78. A rebooted series, with an all new cast, ran for one season in 1995.
8. Bobby, J.R., Cliff

Answer: Dallas

The show ran from 1978-1991. A rebooted series ran from 2012-2014. Both series were set on a ranch in Texas and followed the Ewing family as it struggled to stay together an run a large oil business. The rebooted series included some of the original cast, and was set in real-time as a follow up.
9. Rogue, Storm, Wolverine

Answer: X-Men

The "X-Men" animated series ran from 1992-1997. It followed a superhero team that also lived together and either taught at, or attended, a school for gifted youngsters. The show had 76 episodes over the 5-year run.
10. Bruce, Dick, Alfred

Answer: Batman

The show ran for three seasons from 1966-68 and had a live-action movie produced with the same principal cast. This was the first time that Batman had seen a live-action TV series, though there had been some serial productions that played at movie theaters before TV was as popular as it was in the 1960s.
