1. Homer goes to the chili cook-off and eats a really hot chili of Chief Wiggum's creation. He then goes on a search to find his true soul mate.

He meets a coyote at the top of a pyramid, who tells him he must find his soul mate. Homer has always assumed that it was Marge, but he takes a journey to discover that they truly are meant to be together.

2. Homer decides to buy a small lobster and raise it so that it is worth more when he finally eats it. Lisa cheats on an exam and gets an A+++.

Answer: Lisa Gets An 'A'

This is one of my favourite episodes. Homer calls his lobster Mr. Pinchy and treats it better than he treats the children. He ends up eating him because he tried to give him a nice warm bath to clean it. Lisa cheats on the test for "Wind in the Willows" because she stayed home sick playing an Australian dingo video game.

He comes up with some pretty awful inventions, such as a make-up gun, an 'everything's o.k.' alarm, and a toilet for your lounge chair. His electric hammer gets credited to Edison after he leaves it at the Edison museum.

One of the funniest scenes is when the Witness Protection Association try to teach Homer to be 'Homer Thompson'. A whole night passes by and the man stamps on Homer's foot and says 'Hello Mr Thompson' and wants Homer to smile and nod. Homer leans over to Marge and whispers, 'I think he's talking to you'.

5. Bart writes fake love-letters to Mrs Krabappel and is later forced to ask his family for help regarding his love life.

He is placed on detention by his teacher, Krabappel, at the beginning of the episode and writes these letters to get her back. He says his name is Woodrow Wilson and uses a picture of ice hockey player Gordie Howe.

Even Ralph and Milhouse are able to solve the puzzle. It turns out that the defective Simpson gene only affects males. All of the women in the family are quite smart.

Eventually the family wins him back. Burns had hired actors to play Homer, Marge, Lisa and Maggie who pretended that they didn't love Bart anymore. Footage from hidden cameras in the Simpson home reveals that Homer likes to eat tulips (Bart: 'So that explains his mysterious trip to Holland').

'Possessions are fleeting,' remarks Homer. The jockeys also make fun of them, asking 'You really think that horse can run a mile and a half?' to which Homer replies 'He ran all the way here!'

There are some classic moments with Apu's mother and Bart and Lisa in this episode, when she is asking them about their Indian heritage.
