1. Buffy stops the master from rising.

Answer: "The Harvest"

Yes, this is the only episode in which the Master tried to rise (through one of his minions, Luke) and Buffy stopped him. In "Nightmares" he was able to rise due to it being something Buffy feared, but that only lasted a few moments. In "Prophecy Girl" he did rise, after killing Buffy, but she came back and was able to stop him before he unleashed hell on earth.

2. Principal Flutie is killed.

Answer: The Pack

Though Xander was possessed by the hyena spirit as well during this time, he was not one of the kids who killed the Principal, something he was probably very happy about.

3. Principal Snyder appears for the first time.

Answer: "The Puppet Show"

Even though Principal Flutie was killed in "The Pack", Snyder didn't turn up until "The Puppet Show". He immediately showed an aversion to Buffy and her friends, making them participate in the talent show.

4. We find out that Angel is a vampire.

Answer: Angel

Not all that difficult, the episode is after all named after him.

5. Buffy is turned into a vampire.

Answer: Nightmares

Due to it being one of her nightmares, Buffy was turned into a vampire. A little boy, Billy, was in a coma and made everyone's worst nightmares come true, but when they woke him up things went back to normal. In this episode Willow was forced to perform in "Madame Butterfly", Giles couldn't read, and Xander was attacked by a clown.

6. The Master finds an ally, the Anointed One.

Buffy kills another vampire, believing it is the Anointed One, but in the end we see him with the Master, and it's just a boy.

7. We meet Jenny Calendar, computer teacher / technopagan for the first time.

She was in two episodes of season 1, this one and "Prophecy Girl". In season 2 she was unfortunately killed by Angelus, while trying to give him back his soul.

Catherine Madison takes over her daughter Amy's body to try to become a cheerleader again. She takes out her competition through witchcraft, among other things making Cordelia blind.

I used the word drowned in the question because she is in fact killed by him in "Nightmares", then turned into a vampire. Of course that was only for that episode.
