The Evas are created from the DNA of Adam, apart from Unit 01 who was created from Lilith's DNA.

2. As in most animes, there is a force of opposition to the main characters. What are the opposing creatures in "Neon Genesis Evangelion" called?

Answer: Angels

In fact the Angels don't actually want to hurt the humans. They just want to become one being with them. This is shown in episode 23 "Rei III" when the angel Armisael tries to fuse with Rei and Shinji.

Answer: When the Black seed crashed into Earth

The Black seed contained Lilith, who went on the become the mother of humankind. The Black seed or Black moon became the GeoFront and the rest of it became the moon. Its mentioned by Gendo in episode 21 "He was aware that he was still a child" that humans didn't build the GeoFront, it was there before and they decided to build NERV HQ there.

5. Where was Adam, the father of the Angels, found?

Answer: Antarctica

A team of scientists from Gehirn went to Antarctica for a contact experiment with Adam but went horribly wrong and ended up destroy Antarctica and killing all of the team. this became known as Second Impact.

6. Who are Adam's descendents?

Answer: Angels

Angels only started appearing after Second Impact. All of them have tried to break into Terminal Dogma, where they thought Adam was held.

7. What was sent with Adam and Lilith?

Answer: The Lance of Longinus

It was sent to control Adam and Lilith. It was used to keep Lilith in Terminal Dogma until Rei recovered it to terminate the Angel, Arael.

8. What Angel was Adam resurrected into?

Answer: Tabris

Tabris looked like a human and was suspected to be created by Seele. He went under the name of Kaworu Nagisa. The only Angel to break into Terminal Dogma.

9. Where is Lilith held in the GeoFront?

Answer: Terminal Dogma

Lilith is crucified and impaled by the Lance of Longinus. She only becomes free in "The End of Evangelion".

10. The Evas (apart from Eva 01) were created from whose genetic material?

Answer: Adam's

Adam's DNA! That's why Eva Unit's 00, 02 and 03 all bleed blue blood where as Unit 01 bleeds red blood just like humans.
