Nick's book is about a group of people living in a small town... not unlike the one he lives in in Massachusetts. He has been trying to write a second novel but is plagued by writer's block. He even returns to the dinghy apartment where he wrote the book in hopes that he would find inspiration but only ended up freaking out the people who now live there.

2. What name does Nick write under (i.e. what is the name of the author of his book)?

Answer: Nicholson Garrett

Although his real name is Nicholas Garrett (and he's most often called "Nick") his editors thought "Nicholson" sounded more important.

3. What is the name of the small town in which Nick grew up?

Answer: Knight's Ridge

The show takes place in the fictional town of Knight's Ridge, Massachusetts. Point Place is the town on "That 70's Show" which Laura Prepon (Hannah) was on, Glen Oak is the town on "Seventh Heaven" which Geoff Stults (Eddie) had numerous guest appearances on, and Tree Hill is from "One Tree Hill" on which Bryan Greenberg (Nick) played one of the high school basketball players (Peyton's love interest, Jake).
